Just came to post about that but DJ beat me to it! You all know I hate doing this stuff on pc as opposed to console but as it will eventually be released on those also I figure it's my duty to be in on the beta.
Simething fun to do this winter besides.

I'm in, though given the limited card pool I may not test that much especially with Throne Breaker coming out for Gwent. Pirate control is the only deck I'm interested in as dinasaurs looks way too binary. I'm still sure sure why initial testing is limited to a single set; surely adding the previous block for interaction and bug testing makes more sense?

If anything, this email told us that they wait till the last possible minute to do these things, we can expect access to the beta 31st november haha

On December 1st: "We're sorry to report that we will have to delay beta testing until some time next year, though we promise to still keep priority access in mind".

Dude come on. I like to think we only saw a little of what the game will be with that video a couple weeks ago.
They do need people like you and me I would think. I know there had seemed to be some speculation among some here as to weather it would make it past pc but I swear to all the Gods old and new that when I first heard about this coming up on the Duels FB page via notification it stated that it would be available on consoles and such. I'm sorry that I cannot list them all from memory but I know for a fact that PS4 and XBox were both listed.
They will need feedback from console players to really get this thing right for all.
Then again Splattercat and I were on the Mothership redesign focus group and you see what that got us in the end.
I'm going to go into this optimistically.

I just heard that cards in Arena don’t actually turn sideways to tap?? Is that true?

They turn sideways, just not 90°.
Almost every stream up until now showed the actual in-game tapping.

They tap like 10 degrees or so to the right and have an arrow on them indicating tapped status.
