I feel like it'll be 50 minutes of repeating stuff we already know, 5 minutes of telling us how to sign up for the beta and 5 mins of actual new stuff like the date haha

Although I appreciate this new "we care, we care, we really truely utterly care" design team, the amount of these streams that reveal very little new info each time is starting to feel like an ex desperate for attention.

How many have we had in the last 2 months?

7 with the reveal stream and Chris's podcast.
They started weekly streams to keep the interest. Information becomes for the most part stale only if you are actively following the topic. Too many users still ignore most of the basic stuff, weekly reminders to gather attention and share the product are always useful, considering that the target userbase (mtg and digital ccgs) is quite polarized by focusing on this or that product and niche, instead of being informed all around.

Better to have weekly streams with 90% redundant information, than following Duels's release pattern; aka "suddenly Duels app appears onto the iOS marketplace the exact date an unknown asian gaming journalist wrote 30 days before, in an article that was hastly redacted and censored within 12 hours"
