How am i replaying those artifacts again? I'm way too lazy to analyze the decklist at this point.

edit: Pia's revolution I'm guessing.

Do I have the creature that reduces artifact costs by 1?

Yeah, and Scrap Trawler too in my deck.
Its wholesome grindy-goodness that'll get on your opponent's nerves pretty quickly. Soon enough he'll start taking damage from the revolution just to make it stop!

Coolest thing with the Trawler is if you have him out and a Ballista, the Ballista is always guaranteed to come back whenever you sac anything or your dudes die.

I don't use the Inspector though... He just dies all time.

All right! Let's get this fiesta fiest...ing.

Our submissions are:

Cucho Lambreta:
"Full Metal Jacket 4.1"

Haven_PT:
"Grixvolutions"

CardboardNomad:
"Thopter Prowess"

TheFlakyMage:
"Macarena"

DCG-MTG:
"Methodical Construction"

There we have it! A fine quintet of rank-destroying janktastic garbage for our illustrious judges to test. Have at em'!

Oh, and if anyone wants to add instructions or advice on how to play their deck to the lists, let me know sooner than later.

I'll probably start as early as tomorrow night playing these things. Can't wait. Good luck to all brave participants! Glad you guys are still into Duels, big thanks to Flaky for putting this together

Go Requisitioner go!

Not having actually playtested my deck, my piloting tips would be along the lines of dropping Fireweavers early and setting up some Defense against aggressive decks. Against slower decks, Fireweaver pings can be surprisingly fast, so wear down their life totals early. Play the revolution asap and try and get the most value put of it. Decks that have Enchantment hate are problematic, so if you can lure out those cast outs, better still. Drop the Ballistas early too, because it is relatively easy to get 'em back. Be careful with your life total, because aside from the Inventors' Fair and harvesters, the deck has no other lifegain. If possible, save your Unlicensed Disintegrations for big, hard to deal-with threats and hope to the gods that your opponent isn't playing Ulamog, because you have nothing (except Tezzeret's -2 and having 10 artifacts in play, and Tezzeret not getting exiled) To deal with it.

Good luck to our intrepid judges!

Interesting fact:

Nobody is playing more than 20 lands (Rare in Duels decklists). Those maps are probably to blame, but with the Duels shuffler, I can foresee lots of 2-land hands you'd have a hard time judging if you should mulligan or not. I'd say, if you have your colors and/or a map and something playable T1/T2, its a Keeper. Otherwise, use that free mulligan.

With 20 lands, if you have your colours and two land, you have to keep. If I have two lands , one colour and a map, I'm keeping

Finally found some time to play a few games with my submission and it actually went well. The deck worked exactly According to the game plan.
2 wins against the AI (1 with the AI playing a mono-black that curved out perfectly and threw at me consecutive archfiends) and 1 win on the ladder vs a R35 somewhat weak golgari +1/+1 counters deck.
Strange enough, none of the Requisitioners showed up even though they're a full playset...

i doubt it, i like playing in my underwear.

I'll make you a deal, I typically do live updates on NGA as I'm playtesting. if you happen to be here when I'm in the middle of that, you can post that you want me to stream and then I could maybe set it up.

The problem is i can't seem to upload my Twitch stuff to Youtube anymore so if no one is there to watch it, it sort of gets missed. But yeah, it could be really fun. I would love for people to see the types of free wins some of these decks get. They are certainly not tested to the same fair degree. One is put through the gauntlet while another could be laying down on a soft couch being fed grapes.

Ok so couple of piloting tips.. or obviousness that sometimes are not so obvious

Don´t mull if you got 1 basic land + one map + vial and a 2-3 cmc drop
T3 Tezzeret´s touch can be devastating, also is best to drop it on an non creature artefact so your opponent cant remove the creature on the way down.
Keep the maps on board until you miss a land drop they are basically there to pump fatal or to be touched by Tezzeret ... the pervert (also you got 3 BB cards in there so fetch your second swamp before your second island)
Efficient construction is more like a 5-6 drop, cycle it with copter if it comes to early, on the late game it can be devastating with Esperzoa.
Inventors fair is a legendary so be sure not drop the second one on the board before you tap it (if it comes to that) and remember that you can sac it to get any artefact from your library. - Skysovereign I´m looking at you-
Drop the herald ASAP and keep in mind that he´s got removal -2/-2 written somewhere in there

Win cons
Efficient construction on the late game
Walkers protected by lots of chump blockers so they can ultimate
Tezzeret´s touch Aggro style
Westvale Abbey
Skysovereign
Flyers

PS: Be very careful of ramp we got **** against Sandwurm Convergence
Good luck and have fun!!

the build around card is a 5-6 drop?! And you recommend dumping it with copter?! These decks are NUTS.

Thanks for the tip of fetching Skyship with Inventor's Fair. Should i also tap swamps for black spells?

I can safely say I'm not worried at all against Sandwurm Convergence. Opponents that manage to resolve one of those and still be alive deserve to win.

Hey Cucho, it's a red spell community quest this week! So last night I played There Will Be Blood and I'm not something like 30-2 with it, maybe more. I know I haven't lost more than twice. I even wrecked a lifegain deck last night.

Cucho you're running max Inspectors and Esperzoas but no Noxious Gearhulk and I am sad.

(That would also solve your Sandwurm problem)

Hey I just played some more games and... I went 5-2 on the ladder. Not bad, the 2 losses were very close affairs too, real nail-biters I lost because opponents had pretty lucky top-decking skills.

And you know what? Requisitioner didn't suck. Actually helped me win some games. That totally surprised me actually, they weren't awesome, but not bad either...

Edit: Make that 6-2. Turn 1 map, into T2 ballista, into T3 Tezz's touch on ballista (thanks to the map the got me the swamp I needed) was such a devastating play... 6/6 attacker on T3 with skysouvereign down on T5 and unlicensed disintegration backup. If the deck always drew like this... Damn.

I wonder if our illustrious judges will have such strong draws? I'm actually pretty happy with the way the deck turned out, it seems to have game at R40 on steam.

****, I have been doing it all wrong! :takei:

Ok no more "tips" but IME this deck works better when you are not obsessed with dropping EC on t4, the deck is builded around the card but EC is not for all games, we got several other win cons, EC works best when you got a PW on the board to take the heat while you profit.
Esperzoa + vial is another amazing T3 play

Ehheh. Wait till you see how grindy these things are. Convergence is a very real possibility. Also, I recommend tapping Sunken Hollows and Drowned Catacombs for black spells, too. And also for blue spells. Those cards are great!

Don't know why I never considered it before, but if you have a chief of the foundry in play you can appease Esperzoa with free Ballista.

Also, if you attempt to cast a free Ballista to enable Revolt for Fatal Push, this will pretty well scuttle your plans.
