Objectively speaking, the bumblebee should and must have an impact on the judgment of the deck.

This one time, a municipal judge was presiding over a guy contesting a parking ticket. A butterfly landed elegantly on the gavel at one point and the judge immediately sentenced the man to death. At some point you have to go with your instincts.

now, back to the decklists, I've printed them out and plan to play them tomorrow night a bunch. Extra points* to Flaky already for putting some notes on the various cards and what their role is in the deck.

*there's not really any extra points, but it should help me pilot nonetheless.

LOL

Barney I left play notes when I posted my deck on page one. The only other thing I'd add is that Duels doesn't take madness cost into consideration when tapping land, so make sure it's not doing dumb things to you.

Relax, Barney learn that the hard way when he took vamps to one of the fight clubs.
Painful stuff to see...
(Probably still on youtube somewhere if your feeling masochistic)

i don't even remember that, lol. What happened to me? It tapped all my black or red when I had a spell i could cast with madness?

ugh, i wish i hadn't read Cardboard's notes. They stressed me out. I'm so worried about screwing up the chain in a non-optimal way, especially with Olivia in the mix. I like being told i can freely toss creatures tho. That's really important to know. I hope I remember it :(

Ok I built the decks. Will try tonight. In building Flakys deck, I was so surprised when I ran into Shadowstorm Vizier that I assumed it was one of the forced build around cards

Warm up round starting..

Flakys deck loses to the AI but that doesn't mean anything. I'm still getting used to it. I think I should have cycled more. I guess I'm supposed to just st cycle and waltz over and over to dig to win cons?

Cuchos deck destroys the AI

Cardboards deck as well. Seems more intuitive than Flakys deck

Gah!! Havens deck loses to AI and I had 42 life to his 1 at one point. How embarrassing.

Ok round one playtesting starts later a bit...

Uh-oh... losing to the AI is sad. I expect it to do terrible vs humans, but the deck has so many ways of futzing up the AI’s combat calculations that it shouldn’t lose (barring extreme flood/screw). I won every playtest with only one game being a close call. I recommend playing defensively early on, trying to manage the opponent’s board by waiting for him to attack and then cycling cards to make your creatures bigger, his creatures smaller and/or pump out surprise token blockers. The longer the game goes, the better the payload for each discard and the easier it will be to switch to offense (especially if you get Archfiend out).

Every manufacturer claims pilot error. That's a poor excuse, Haven Boeing!

Oh boy tonight is when I bring these bad boys into battle, can't wait

I played lots of Waltz last night but not a single monument:(

Waltz seems terribad since it doesn't give card advantage unless I discard a madness spell. I'm surprised by how mana hungry these decks are, especially Flaky.

It's fun playing vamps again too

I really need to cycle more. I'm wanting to hardcast the creatures too often

Gimme the Loot

AI Hard 1 - Victory! Barely! I didn't really deserve this victory, but I did manage to get Hazoret's Minimall and Macabre Walter both played in the first few turns. Macabre Walter retrieved my Insolent Neonate and madnessed (that's a verb) an Alms of the Vein. I ended up winning mostly with 3 Insolent Neonates and that 2/1 Glint-Sleeves iPhoner lady, then throwing a Fiery Temper Tantrum.
AI Hard 2 - Victory! Buuuut, it was a bit of a stretch again. I'm going to go into versus, but I'm less confident here, and I think it's maybe just CardboardNomad trying to undermine my precious, precious rank.

Versus 1 - Rank 37, Victory! wpotter420 ended up quitting on me when my Beerhall Priests started picking on him and his monsters. The AI that came in to pinch hit for him started OCD tapping vehicles to crew vehicles to crew vehicles and missed opportunities to gain serious life back with his Aethersphere Harvesters.
Versus 2 - Rank 38, Loser! Found out the hard way that Thalia, Heretic Catheter is a serious threat to this deck when you don't luck into some removal. I was slapped hard by some white weenies.
Versus 3 - Rank 37, Loser! Another white weenie deck, another encounter with that bully Thalia. What's her deal, man? What does she have against vampires, anyway? vampire racism is what it is!
Versus 4 - Rank 36, Victory! By the skin of my metaphor, I won thanks to the Beerhall Priest. I was down to 5 life pretty fast against some orzhombies. I think I've had three Hazoret's Minimalls in a hand for two games in a row, now. Maybe too many minimalls. Damn suburbia.
Versus 5 - Rank 37, Victory! Again, barely, though. I was at 4 life against an artifact revolution deck. Macabre Walter was only good as fodder for discard to the Key to the City.

So, with Gimme the Loot (or Gloot, as I was calling it), i still had more victories than losses in my trial period, I never felt in control like I did back in my days as on the board of executives at Bloodsuckers, Inc. LLC. But, I will give boner points for having both Hazoret's Minimall and Macabre Walter.

Still running in second place, though.

According to the Wikia for Magic, because of course there is one, she was raised a Vampire Racist and trained early in Vampire persecution.

Ok here we go, round one...

Let's start with Havens BloOdsuckers inc.... win versus mono white enchantment 1-0

Cardboard next...win versus vamps? 1-0

Cucho next...win versus energy dimir 1-0

Oh boy, here goes Flaky...big win against Irzhov Zombies!! Yay censor

Round two ! All decks survived

Flaky first...win against rank40!! 2-0

Cucho next...big win against GW auras . I shouldn't have discarded unlicensed disentegration

Cardboard next...awful start against rank 36... omg I came up against Flakys cycle deck!! I got half way through my deck and couldn't get any removal against his lifelink guys which kept him alive. I stupidly played instants during my turn a lot which was dumb cuz he landed lots of cartouches which was a disaster for me. Loses 1-1 and gets deleted.

Let's finish the night and round with Havens deck...wins against some n00b. 2-0

Ok round two ends with 3 decks remaining. More tomorrow!!

Technically, vampires aren't alive...
Still, shame on her!

Now you're just spreading establishment propaganda, Haven.

Until Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen decides to share her +1/+1 with other races, I will continue to strive for equality.
