TES had an NDA in place, Gwent removed it after few days of Closed Beta.
MtG seems to acctract more vocal groups, but I always prefer when the developers are open about these beta tests.
It's a given that betas are limited and buggy, but sharing the beta progress publicly, allows for external users to see the growth of the overall product.

No, really, developers never talked about testing new forums.
They simply said that they'll give testers a forum to talk about the beta, so they can group the feedback in an easier way.

They already said there's going to be a NDA and Beta discussions which there would be no point if they're not going to enforce it.

Let's hope however Wizards puts together its beta forum that it is run better than its last effort at a community forum.

On the other hand I don't have much hope with Wizards dropping any NDA and opening discussion outside it control. Just look at the discord and reddit communities. They're a mess with anon ids. People talk much differently when tagged with their real id.

Well this sucks.
Guess I won't be joining you all. Contacted customer service and they told me the clear cookies and catch deal which I had already done so instead of Firefox on my pc I tried to sign up for the beta on my tablet in Chrome (which I had not even used before) and still got a 404 Page Not Found.
.... sigh

If you're talking about this page https://magic.wizards.com/en/mtgarena I don't believe you need to be signed into your WOTC account to sign up for the beta, all it asks for is email, DCI number(optional) and promo code (again optional)

Might help you out to sign out of the actual WOTC site before trying to sign up, only saying this cause i was having some real issues with the WOTC website while signed in, maybe it's the same for you? hope that helps.

I remember you've already asked around, but just clarify after having notified the issue to the developing team in chat, and supposedly having them escalate it internally, it's a widespread issue that comes and goes on every browser.

You must be signed out from your WotC account, otherwise the page glitches with ANOTHER issue althogether, but I've tried signing up with fak mails, and sometimes it just load correctly. While most of the time it just screws up.

There's plenty of time still, and your best bet is to wait and keep trying once or twice every while.
