I'm not all that into Sonic (though that was totally my jam 20 years ago) but there's one bit of amusement that's popped up that really piqued my interest.
The accidental creation of robotnik's daughter.

...And her name is Eggatha.
I love literally everything about that.

I haven't seen John Wick 2 yet, but the first one did a good job with its revenge theme. Surprisingly so, which made it all the more enjoyable.

The second one is pretty good, though if they keep upping the ante like this each movie then I cringe to imagine what chapter 3 is gong to be like.

Hope everyone is good. Been busy lately as I moved across state lines to Alabama. Been spending the night catching up on the MTG story.

Congrats Yxoque! Your wedding looks great, and you guys look super!

Thanks :-) It was a great day. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

I finally got around to seeing Wonder Woman. 8/10, pretty good movie (easily trumps MoS, the other DCEU origin movie). I liked the bit of misdirection they did with Ares. Cringed a bit when Dr. Poison and that German general were giggling about the mustard gas.

Was that general using some prototype Venom? The stuff that gets Bane all jacked up?

Been too long since I posted here... But just have to ask, Eggatha a part of the comic stories? Not aware of her in the games.

It was a fan creation that came about... kinda accidentally

Here's a video about it.

Not a time traveler, just a cash strapped someone stuck in the past... And getting older. 29 today.

Edit: Though I guess the time theme is fitting if the color I best identify with is blue...

Most time travellers are stuck in the past.

Ziggy says you can't leap until the orphanage is saved, Sam.

...I'm actually worried folks won't get that joke.

Yeah, add that to the number of things this time locked time traveler fails to understand...

And a fan character born of a mistake about a sonic mania moment... And actually a fairly cool one. I so wish that Sega can continue to find their footing with Sonic.

It could end up being that, but they haven't said.

Frankly, I -hated- the Ares bit at the end. It just felt cheap to me, and added because they needed a big fight at the end. It almost ruined the move for me personally.

Everybody enjoy their pre-releases (those that went)?

I had a pretty good time. Made some major reading comprehension mistakes that really cost me in the first round, but came out of everything in second place when everything was said and done.
