I don't think people talked about downloading them, but moving them to other folders (Rules, folders & settings.)
If you actually want to download them, I think the best you have is print view (and then saving the page, Web Page & HTML only), which is only by singular message.

As a matter of fact, people have talked about downloading them, just perhaps not where you have noticed. Personally, I don't have any PM I consider precious enough to save when it reaches the end of the 200, and so far I've only needed 2.5 folders (the half of one is for transient use for larger personal projects), so I don't know what programs, if any, have been used.

You're right. I've probably forgotten. The conversation I found didn't seem to actually provide an answer. So the best I can offer is this: https://www.google.no/search?q=vbulleti ... age+reader
I don't think it's going to format any forum extensions properly though, such as deck tags, mana tags, probably not smileys either.

Speaking of, I didn't notice the "Export as CSV/XML" option. If you just want them in a somewhat readable format, then you can use that.

folders worked fine for the thing I needed to do, but it's good to know that options exist.

I polished up the gold mana symbol: Image

Please use this to replace , the image currently used for {mc}o{/mc}.

(If you can't tell the difference, I made the colors a little more vibrant & filled in some of the gold bordering.)

Also if you could give it a smiley for :o: that would be awesome too

would it be possible to get the ability to soft-delete posts after they've been responded to? I get that doing so presents potential communication problems, but a) I assume mods can still see soft-deleted posts and thus punish people who abuse that, and b) the same can be done with editing. I mainly want it in order to reserve posts in a thread for later use (really valuable in organizational threads like dossiers or YMtC contests) and as is, if you forget to do things in the exact right order there's no recourse that I'm aware of.

After looking through the forum settings for a bit, it doesn't look like there's an option to allow that behavior without allowing some things we definitely don't want people to be able to do, so I'm afraid not. However, if you need to reserve a bunch of posts in a contest thread or the like and accidentally mess up the ordering, I'm sure a moderator will be happy to help out by soft deleting the necessary posts for you.

aw, too bad. I actually tried having a moderator help (specifically, the M:EM Archivist tried soft-deleting a post to see what would happen) but it appears that mod-deleted posts behave differently from user-deleted ones. I can't even see it, let alone edit and un-delete it.

anyway it's all doable if I remember to do things in the exact right order. I just don't do it often enough to have that specific sequence memorized.

Could we get an option to make lists that number (or letter) things in reverse order? Like {list=-1} could get you a list that counts down instead of up?
