i have deleted my Duels app (IOS) and it says it cant be downloaded again!
anyone know why ? facing the same issue?

I wouldn't have thought they just up and removed it from the store but support for it has ended so maybe they did.
I don't really know anything about iOS though so there could be another reason.

This is infuriating. So if I get a new iPhone or iPad, no Duels for me? Just amazing how Wizards find new ways to piss people off.

Meh... I knew this was going to happen. The vindication doesn't feel good though. :-/

It's still in the App Store, did you search for Magic Duels?

FWIW, I can still find it in the app store... but I don't want to experiment with deleting/reinstalling for obvious reasons

They can do that? I mean people payed money for their collection and they can simply take it away? The sudden discontinuation of Duels is infuriating enough, but if they really remove the game altogether, they'll never ever get another cent from me.

Jumping to conclusions right there. There have been no confirmations on if its removed and Yondar just said he can still find it, plus Necro has not said anything since and all I said was just a minor guess of a possibility.

So far as I can tell they have not done so. Maybe he needs to update his software or something.

the app is still on the store... but everytime o tryed to download it i got the "Failed to download" message.
i have updated to ios 11 and the issue was solved!

dont know what happened there, but for some days i was unable to download it.

Happens all the time on the App Store. You pay for the license for apps, but that doesn't guarantee indefinite support or availability of the software. You can always use what you paid for on the device you installed it on if you don't alter/upgrade the device beyond what is supported.

As of IOS 11 all versions of DOTP no longer work! Of course there will be no more updates to Duels so the app for this platform is dead. I still (occasionally) Play Magic Duels on PC (Steam) albeit with a reduced set. It can bring back the early days of Duels at times. I still have an older iPad mini where Magic 2013 thru 2015 still work. No more updates so they will continue to.

Arena kind of looks interesting but until it’s released who knows. I may, just may return to NGA if it is decent enough but as a parting commment having my time back through lack of not playing Duels has been rather pleasant. SD

EDIT: Correction Magic Duels still works on IOS 11. I guess it was always 64 bit as it was not available to older iPad models. The rest though are defunct if you upgrade to IOS11. On older iPads you will be okay
