Back in MTG's heyday, there was a broader demographic to what you'd see than the current one.
I recall well the then, the factors that applied, and why. (My playerbase was alt culture and fraternity-ish, as an aside...) I remember well those days, up til my first brush-in with what the game became after the first Block.
Now to the swingiest of all things. What's the most fun cards for the returning and the freerange playerbase? Is there any affiliated swag that goes over well with making the game have a pleasant ambience?
As for what card's not a bad one, I've found the game's currently defunct lategame to be made all better by the Bands with Other and Rampage reminder card. You know, the one that comes with the Legends booster packs. Any deck needing that carried about with it is a good 'un. Shame that
Shelkin Brownie got nerfed, but whatever.
Insinuation being, I'd appreciate some guidance in building anew my playerbase. I nixed the last one, ultimately. What sorta (admittedly oldschool) decks and singular cards give off the gaming as a quality frickin' experience vibe I want?
