Hi forum,

I have been playing around the idea with delirium and graveyard interactions. Mostly with grapple with the past, pulse of murasa, greenwarden. Add creatures - walking ballista, rec sage, tireless tracker, flip nissa, Ishkana, Gitrog, Kalitas, Noxious gearhulk etc. Fill in support cards in removals and sweepers.

It has been fun to play. The only thing was I wanted to further increase the graveyard buy back. We have that emerge eldrazi which can take inst / sorcery back from graveyard. I wanted to play that one too. Since we introduce emerge, I was thinking okay maybe deep-fiends, mindbenders. We will probably need more emerge targets. What to play? How about Eldritch Evolutions? How to make this combo more reliable and fun?

Does anyone have a good list that you enjoy to play? See, my goal is to buy back good stuff from graveyard and upset the opponent.

My favorite graveyard deck so far is Nighthawk's Emerge deck, I LOVE it

Barney, do you have a link to that list?

Necromantic Summons
Ever After
Pieces of the Puzzle
Baloth Null
Vexing Scuttler

Starts to get ridiculous in a hurry.

Also, CGB did an updated (since AKH released) version of that deck for his Quest for the Best series. List in description.

Oh I see ... NH and CGB both go red instead of black. Kozilek's return is a big one. makes sense. Other red cards (chandras, glorybringers) I don't care much. Looking at black - I wish I could somehow use the black sweepers, kalitas and liliana. Will see if red has good alternatives, or if UG have enough power. in themselves...

Love Nomad's all in combo pieces. Will try some in my BG version.

I play a delirium BUG deck that gets pretty gross if you let me abuse all the etbs over and over again. It doesn't emerge but it really doesn't need to.

Yeah with sultai colors there could be posessed scaab, displace and essense flux in the picture.

for some reason I really wanted to have Vexing scuttler to work. but it turns out it's not really game winning. Maybe emerge is too janky to go. I like the basic BG version for solo game. Adding U for scaab, displace + flux is makes it fun 2hg deck (much much slower than BG)

Check my decklist from Showdown vol.5, it's slightly different now but it's a good starting point.

Here's a first draft, just tested it to 6-2 at the top of the iOS ladder with one loss a mana screw 10 cards deep. Pretty fun to lock people down, but the matches take a long time. Ended up light on the emerge & delirium; it's more of a graveyard toolbox.

1 x Thing in the Ice
2 x Glint-Sleeve Siphoner
2 x Sylvan Advocate
4 x Grapple with the Past
1 x Reclamation Sage
3 x Rogue Refiner
1 x Pulse of Murasa
2 x Pieces of the Puzzle
2 x Eldritch Evolution
1 x Never
1 x Mindwrack Demon
1 x Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
2 x Yahenni's Expertise
1 x Oblivion Strike
1 x Glyph Keeper
2 x Necromantic Summons
1 x Liliana, Death's Majesty
1 x Noxious Gearhulk
1 x Greenwarden of Murasa
1 x Woodland Bellower
2 x Baloth Null
2 x Vexing Scuttler
1 x Ulamog

2 x Island
2 x Swamp
3 x Forest
2 x Lumbering Falls
2 x Hissing Quagmire
2 x Sunken Hollow
2 x Woodland Cemetery
2 x Drowned Catacomb
2 x Hinterland Harbor
3 x Aether Hub
2 x Evolving Wilds

Edit: Some more testing and I don't love the mass bounce. Thinking keep one of Titi, Wave or Crush and swap in Greenwarden and either Oblivion Strike, Aether Tradewinds or Commit.

Edit 2: Greenwarden for Crush is an enormous YES. Tradewinds is meh, will test oblivion strike next; gods and 'mogs can make this struggle. Maybe wants a Never too, but I'm not sure what for. Drop to 2 Pieces of the Puzzle? I think it's too slow for commit to be great, and memory resets my delicious graveyard anyway. Titi stays for early defense and possibility of instant speed flip.

Hot damn this is fun to play though. Synergies are wild, and it feels like you have endless possibilities available most of the time. Evolution is ridiculous- everything from T3 Kalitas to t5 ulamog, or just trading sideways into massive utility. And Lily is insane too, 0cc recursion opens up huge turns that can completely decide the game, and paired with Greenwarden she's the threat that never ends.
