Then again, she thought the world was going to end soon anyway and Sorin would be obliterated by Emrakul. Really, they can't keep him in that wall like that for months, that would just be insane, even for an ancient vampire 'walker. I hope he just planeswalked out eventually or someone freed him. They can wait with establishing that until it comes up, but just keeping him in that wall until Creative needs him again isn't a very plausible way of keeping him in limbo in my opinion.

I wasn't sold on the idea of Samut being a planeswalker until Alison Luhrs pointed out the amusingly practical idea that Samut could fill jugs of water from other planes and bring them to Amonkhet.

In all seriousness, I respect that. Only buy what you like. Iconic Masters will have plenty of Angels (and Sphinges, and Demons, and Dragons, and Hydras). Now that you mention it, Angel tribal support is a little lacking. Sounds like I have a new windmill to tilt at!

Commander 2014 (?), we couldve had Serra in, Commander 2017 couldve have had Angel tribal with possibly Feather and/or Asha and/or the 4th Innistrad sister, but still none. I know Im being greedy and silly here to some, but being in a fan group that has less more clout in MtG, Vorthoses, I just cant help these feelings (my head is hurting as I am typing this... but maybe also coz Im doing so in a mobile phone )

Commander 2017 and Ixalan are looking pretty cool so far, too, but a return to Dominaria is that one big thing that I've been holding out for for years, and Dominaria as a plane is the one thing that I will always love the most about Magic. You should probably just go ahead and lead design another round of Commander decks to get it done. You are very good at selling them to me for some reason. C14 and C16 turned out awesome! I guess the biggest challenge would be to decide whether you want to go the mono-white, Serra Commander route or the multi-coloured route where you just cram a ton of splashy angels of various colour combinations into one deck and add some new cards for Asha, Innistrad's fourth sister etc. Not sure which one would be more popular.


Same, I've constantly felt punished for being a Vorthos and for knowing and caring about the storyline in the past few years. There's a reason I've mostly been buying supplemental products instead of regular expansions. Magic has taken so many wrong turns after Theros block, especially creatively. And sure, we all have our individual, selfish wishlists, but I think certain basic demands aren't even greedy or silly, they're simply justified. We should be able to take it for granted that they won't just retcon everybody's backstory and throw their characters out of the window for instance. It's just a basic question of not royally screwing over your oldest and most loyal fans and customers. I really wasn't joking when I said I would buy more cards without the Gatewatch.

I would buy a lot of cards but I keep wanting to go through and sell tons of olds ones I never use and putting it off.

It's an all-reprint set that focuses on what we call the "iconic" creature types of Magic: Angel, Sphinx, Demon, Dragon, and Hydra. There are plenty of noncreature spells and noniconic creatures, but the set is themed toward those big, iconic creatures.



We work slowly to make a quality product, but that means we aren't as nimble as we otherwise could be.

There's a lot of enthusiasm in R&D for making a Serra planeswalker card. It's just a matter of finding the right product to deploy her in.
