Congrats Modulo! I went 7-0 with that monster on ladder and then Gem wrecked it. Still playing Sjoks deck though

Really fun contest Joker, thanks for taking a risk

Next contest should include new set and the timing should be set to start a week after set release, if possible.

The idea should be a "tier 1" round in the first or second week of Amonkhet, that could be useful in preparation for the tournaments. But we'll see.

Congratz to Modulo for his second victory in a row, he is a tough deckbuilder to beat. I think it was a funny contest for the end of the season. More info about next round probably in the first week of May, but the theme should be a "tier 1" deck, even if the meta won't be well defined.

Big shout-out to Sjok's Insolvent Neonate deck which I recently retired after going 16-5 on ladder! Super impressive and it was a total blast. So many of those losses had the opponent at 4 life where I desperately just needed a nice rare burn card like Firecraft or Collective Defiance (whatever that card is called). Those were 16 humiliating losses for opponents. If they stick a planeswalker, it's super tough.

(Stevo would have a shltfit cuz I've bumped three threads just to give feedback to deck builders. I remember when Hakeem used to bump threads to update his builds and the guy would freak out. Good times...)

yes, i don't think it's viable at all*

lifegain is EVERYWHERE and if I have to deal with another Kalitas ever again, it'll be too soon.


*i'm being a little dramatic here for effect. obviously it's viable but it's not tier 1.
