For those who haven't checked up on it (or, for those who just don't check the comments), the good Mr. ShadowOfCygnus is hinting that he will be tackling Two Bullets and a Pocketful of Hate next, though with the understanding that it will be a big project and that it may be some time before we see that.

Still, I'm excited by the prospect. These readings have given me a tremendous amount of joy, and he is an absolute pleasure to speak to.

(He's also hinted that he's been lurking on this very thread, just to make you feel self-conscious. )

These are just seven different kinds of amazing. :D

I did my best to say my thanks to Shadow over on the YouTube page, but I'll just echo it here as well.

And I'm looking forward to the next one, too -- it's going to be something!

I explained in the Off-Topic thread why I'm a little too drained at the moment to actually feel excited about it, but I'm obliged to let you all know ShadowOfCygnus's reading of Two Bullets is nearly finished and should be out in short order, unforeseen complications aside.

I am very much looking forward to this! I'll have to wait to listen to it until I get back home, though. This hotel has some of the worst WiFi I have ever see. Still, it's a nostalgia trip for me back to my middle school days and the wonders of early dial-up internet...

HEY GUYS AND GALS AND OTHERS

GUESS WHAT

IT'S BACK

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL44NBP-8UI

I've put a direct link to the reading of A Moral Compass because for some reason Youtube embeds are currently broken (this got brought up in the bug report thread).

GO LISTEN TO IT. RELIVE THAT WONDERFUL MOMENT WHEN THE TWO BIGGEST LEGENDS OF THE WASTES MET UP TO MAKE HISTORY.

Having listened to both of these, I am reminded both of my fondness for this series and mr. Cygnus' excellent worn.

Always after listening to one of these, I am struck by the urge to write. A good thing, to be sure, but I never have time to capitalize. Someday, someday, I hope.

I have to shamefully admit that it was only after listening to these recently that I caught the tip of the hat you left for OL in the noggle character Harmon Ix.

Also, since you're here, Ruwin, would you mind weighing in on something? The good Mr. ShadowOfCygnus says "Frisco" sounds like "whatever pomade he uses to keep his greasy bloody hair slicked back". My bet is that it's got to be Dapper Dan. Do you have some word of god on this topic?

Ah, I do have word of God on the matter, although I'm afraid it won't be to either of your liking. See, I spent a lot of time picturing Fisco. His scowl. His big ears. His bad breath. There is a lot of unsavory things about the man, and while an argument can be made for curing his bad breath, he's stuck with the scowl and the ears.

And, much like the scowl and the ears, Fisco's hair is all natural. It sticks to his head like wet paper. Even bathing doesn't fix the problem for more than a few hours. He's just slick that way.

Much like every other one of these, this latest one is SO GOOD. I am continually blown away by the kindness of ShadowOfCygnus for doing these. It must represent a titanic investment of time, and they're all wonderful.

Why do I keep hearing the Maybelline jingle in my head? "Maybe he's born with it. Maybe it's Fisco Vane."

While I have it on good authority that ShadowOfCygnus lurks around here, I think it would be a nice gesture to leave a comment on the videos themselves. I even check back now and then to see if there's been anyone from here leaving comments. Well, that, and I actually re-listen to these every couple of months.

Guess who's back?

I have yet to find the time to listen to it myself, but I'd be remiss if I didn't let you all know about it.

EDIT: he re-uploaded it due to a few missed edits.
