I totally forgot to sideboard blue control

The top 8 pairings will be arranged by SquiderDragon for transparency issues, hopefully the tie breaker will settle in the following days so we can start the next phase of the tourney as soon as possible.

Remember that Sideboards will be publish along with the keys and that from now on the matches are best of 5.
On sideboards topic:
* The sideboard is 1 on 1 swaps so the decks must remain 60 cards
* You can sideboard after each game but not before game 1
*CGB made a video uploaded on this thread earlier, one great advice is that you create a deck with your main deck cards along with the 15 SB cards so you will have a 75 cards deck saved on your library (make sure you name it accordingly) and when you get to sideboard you can just copy and edit that deck until you got your deck´s cut for the match delete the sideboarded deck after the game to avoid problems on the next match.

hello guys!

i was going to play against Zen for the TOP8 tie-brek.
we tryed to play yesterday, but we could play because my connection was very instable, not allowing to keep connectd for 5 minutes.
this is due to all the fires here in Portugal, and i dont know when things are gonna be ok again ...

soo, im forced to conced the game, allowing Zen to move along to the Top8...
its a shame i know, but in the end this is a game and there´s more importante things to think about right now, trying to help all the firemans with watter, food, etc...

im shure ill see u all again very soon!

Necr0potence, we saw the news report in uk. Shocking and must be an upsetting time. It was also off the back of the terrible block of flats fire in London which was equally horrific. I wish Portugal well and hope and trust things can return to normal but like London there will be a lot of people grieving for lost ones and also struggling with homelessness. Like the UK I am sure your country and community will pull together at this difficult time. SD

I thought those 5 cards WAS his sideboard.

Maybe I'm out of line here, considering I'm the new guy and this is a friendly community tournament, but wasn't the point of submitting a sideboard along with the decklist so we can't build sideboards based on the decks in the tournament? This seems like an unfair advantage.

Well the sideboard was supposed to be blind. Not with knowledge of what other decks there are. I'm hoping the other sideboards were also locked in before the tournament started because it is an unfair advantage to sideboard after decks have already been revealed

All MagicMaster will withdraw from the tournament. The fault is mine. As you all may be aware I persuaded him last minute to enter to get us to 14. As a result he just had time to consider his deck and not the sideboard at the time.

As it is is he was a tie break anyway for last top 8 so he will withdraw so the tie-break will be between the 2 other participants (Zen and Necro) who did have the time to prepare their sideboard before the Swiss rounds started.

Well if that's how you all feel so be it told you had nearly all 15 SB anyway when I was making the deck had more in there so had to drop it down to 60 the ones I dropped out were in my SB

Plus Zen still wants to do our match badly even told him im out of it, don't disappoint him
