Kangermuu? I thought it was Ecuador. He was always talking about being the only "gringo" in his town. Can't remember if it was him or Hakeem who turned me on to Pollo Campero. Had to be someone here that was from Central or South America.

I also miss Elijin and am totally not Barney posting from his account.

I'm not from those parts and have no idea what Pollo Campero is, though I'd wager it's a chicken dish of some sort. Kangermu was in Guatemala and a huge Boston Bruins fan.

Garren and Neosilk were some of my favorite people in these boards. I'll also mention Minddrifter/Nebula, the OG Duels TO, and Brodo, which was one of the most knowledgeable guys in the mothership back when I joined, in the DotP'12 era.

Oh man, Brodo is a blast from the past.

For sure a great poster and player and to be fair a detractor of duels at times but just calling it out. Straight talking, no nonsense, offend or please. But yes miss him of late. I knew he was pretty much into 2HG more and with his other half.

I enjoyed his company and partnered up on quite a few 2hg games also.
To be frank, there were a lot of PM's between the two of us. I think he would genuinely become hurt about reactions to his posts. I think he looked at me as a "father" of these boards and knew he could confide in me. I know for a fact that all he ever wanted was a stronger duels community and was trying to play his part in making that.
