This is dumb. If the law was "Insurance companies don't have to offer insurance that covers abortions" that would make sense. Free market forces will ensure both types of plans are offered. The law as is is unjustly restrictive.

Roe v. Wade says that you can't ban abortion, so social conservatives are trying to make getting an abortion as difficult as raising an unwanted and unaffordable child into a world of misery and poverty.
