I've never had Disciple glitch out a game before

I doubt they'll ever be a problem on steam. They are all a very civilized bunch and I cannot wait to fully transition over.

You may want to wait till tomorrow when wizards announces their digital lineup for the forseeable future before you make decisions about transitioning.

Reasoning?

Wizards is changing their release schedule for paper and adding back a core set of sorts. Who knows what that could mean for the future of duels. I'm guessing a new product replaces duels sooner rather than later. Maybe we get an answer tomorrow?

OK, I looked over game footage from both players (heebeejeebeez and vert).

First, I don't think it was a glitch because of the Disciple. The attack phase ended and went into the second main phase when it DC'd/lagged out. So, no worries there for possible changeouts at this time.

Second, I found game 1 to be firmly in Vert's favor when the DC occurred. With heebee (14 life) only having a Cathartic Reunion against Vert's (12 life) Disciple, 3 clue tokens, spell shrivel, and confirm suspicions...I can't imagine a universe where, given the knowledge of what is in the players decks, heebee could have pulled off a comeback that far behind. Best case scenario was drawing Insult//Injury and 2x Exquisite Firecraft in his next 3 draws, casting Insult without it getting countered (even soft countered by the Spell Shrivel) and doing back to back Exquisite Firecraft over 2 turns (based off of available mana). That is without taking into account what Vert MIGHT have drawn during that time.
