Remember the games are competitive, but the format is casual. So... we're breaking the prime directive by dwelling on it. The fact that these stupid things happen is no fun for anyone, but that's why we play 3 games, not 1. Best 2 of 3 over just one game hopefully accounts for the one off things that can happen like mulling 6 times without land or not getting to use your counterspell. Moving on...

Exactly Barney. That's why we play best of 3. If there was something that made it obvious Vert's side lagged, he would of offered to replay (good sportsmanship!). When you watch the replay, however, vert is just going about his business. On gem's side, his connection drops and he's temporarily locked out of the game. I'm just saying if it's not obviously your opponents fault, it's not worth replaying. You still get another chance, anyway, since it's a best of 3.

My apologies go to Vert. I did schedule with Barney but I think barney gave me his expressed permission to go down the list since we couldn't play our game for several days. Vert messaged me back and I wanted to play him but I missed the message he sent before playing a different challenger that night. We weren't online at the same time and the player behind him was online. Both of the games I played challenged me when I notified them they were on deck. I wasn't trying to avoid Vert to rack up wins but rather trying to get the games moving. I thought top 3 on the list are fair if the top of the list isn't available. If any of my king games need to be voided I can understand that and am willing to take a penalty.

In the future when I'm king I will wait 24 hours before moving to the next challenger on the list. Please remember I am probably the least experienced with the rules of this tournament (outside of Brian, I was trying to explain it to him). I may need some setting strait. It was just last season when I tried to switch to a completely different deck against vert on game 2 (he was pretty cool about it and it's funny to think about now).

I like this tournament because it isn't sthuper stherious. Cherry picking, trying to get administrator rullings after you play through all the matches, or snipping feeds for an advantage are all signs someone is trying too hard. Go play kryder's tournament if that's how it's going to be I want to have fun and not worry about try hard pants. I brought 2 experiment decks into the last 3 games I played in this. I had fun, no need to act a bish.
