Damn it, you guys! Everyone is so busy with their stupid tournaments that no one is posting witty or insightful threads! And my iPad was dropped so I can't play along.

You don't understand, I come to this place for release from the unbearable agony of my day-to-day existence. I need this! Now, someone post a new use for an old card. Barney can make a stupid comment about it, and divinevert will school him in how Magic is actually played, then the devilwuster will post the time and address of his band's next gig. sixty4half will also post regarding the new card use but no one will acknowledge him.

Yeah, it's funny how near every post Barney puts in the "Magic for Dummies Like Me" is full of incorrect information. And then there's me, who nearly always posts accurate information (I did post one incorrect answer a few weeks ago), yet people give more weight to Barney's assessments and comments while everyone largely ignores me.

But have you seen his face? So trustworthy!

man, i've said it before but this soup fella is one heck of a nice breath of fresh air

also, here's my Alien: Covenant review for anyone that cares;

You keep hitting on me like this, Barney, and you're going to wind up with a faceful of my appreciation.

Anyway, it's only natural that you and I get along, what with me being your second account, and all.

Just got back from Wonder Woman.

The second coming of Christ it is not. While the reviews and box office numbers will keep DC in the money, it isn't anywhere near as good as some reviewers are making out. I'd put in on par with the lower tier of Marvel movies. There is some awful, blatant CGI and
Spoiler
.

Still, if the performances weren't exceptional they were at least solid. I'm sold on Gadot as Wonder Woman and there were a few decent set pieces. A step in the right direction for DC, but there is definitely still work to be done.

Oh good I'll skip it. My FB is blowing up on how the woman is pro-IDF and people are skipping the movie cuz of that. So stupid. Every movie in existence is going to have someone important on it that's pro-Israel for crying out loud, who cares

Barney is implying that since I agreed with you on something it means something must be wrong, I think

That's a safe assumption, probably. I always presume that Barney only skims posts, yells out a response (mouth full of crumbs) before remembering he has to type out a reply. He still mutters and curses between mashing handfuls of croutons in his mouth, narrating aloud what he types. Reading the original post completely comes later, usually, if at all.

I kid. What I say is meant with humour and respect.

Probably.

Glad to here that DC finally put out a movie that a majority thought was decent.

I'm not up to speed on comics. Last I checked in everybody was lukewarm on the New 52. But I think they reset all that already? Something to do with Dr. Manhattan that I don't think people were too keen on?

There was already a soft reset in DC Comics a little while ago, and now Dr. Manhattan appears to be behind the whole new universe, so we can look forward to another reboot or soft reboot in the near future.

My 7-year-old son just said to me: "Papa, you know what would be a good name for a movie? Muscle Car Zombies!"

He's right, you know. I would watch that.

Hopefully, there will be a Samuel Jackson to say "I've had it with these motherf-ing zombies in this motherf-ing muscle car!"
