Decklist have been submitted and are now posted.

Take a look at your deck and ensure there are no errors in translation. They were copied/pasted so they should be exactly as you sent them to me. If there are any problems, send me an email at [email protected] and we will look into the matter. You have until round 1 starts on Tuesday to do this; afterwards, what you have posted is what you need to be playing.

Also, you will note sideboards are not listed yet. That is on purpose. I will get those posted after week 4 for players in the running for top 8.

You misspelled Chester Control for Vert's deck's name and archetype.

Thanks to Kryder for being patient with me and my bad list. Special thanks to vert and CGB for trying to help me figure out a sideboard and what is better main decking. Poor blue was dealing with me on very little sleep and I was in panic mode trying to figure out what b/r cards beat control decks. My brain was shutting off so kudos to him for being patient and generous with his time.

I understand why several wanted to avoid side boards. You have to reconfigure your deck and test it vs specific types to know for certain a strategy will work. I didn't realize how much this can complicate your strategy. How do you do this without 1) lots of time to practice and 2) someone that will run said scenario for you as you can't just hope to find these decks on the ladder? I just spit balled the whole thing together so here's to learning on the fly.

My sideboard went from "transform my deck" into "cards I might want to run in this deck because they are good dude".

I don't even really like vehicle decks but ah well lets go get countered!

Well, I'm glad I joined this time because the culmination of these decks power level is the highest of any xbox tournament. Nothing looks too janky and out of place. Just wished someone would play a Ramp deck or Tutelage for FULL diversity. I have a funny feeling though that many people worked together when building decks which is a good thing. Control seems to be the most popular because of the new cards. Pleased to see most flavors of Control. GR midrange was no surprise because the 2 best gods are G and R. The zombie decks look solid. BR Vehicls because of Giochers competition. Then a few 1-ofs including myself.

Yeah well, it's what I said a while back. Not everyone has that amount of time to put in to a build that is btw useless outside of this tournament. Now there are only hardcore Magic players in this tournament, you know, the guys that eat a Jace, the Mind Sculptor each morning because they have five sets of him already.
And I really hope that you will do well in this tourney, because I like your enthusiasm. But now you are going to play a deck that you don't even like for an entire tournament, just to stand a chance.

Though Kryder has clarified in later posts that only submissions by email were valid. Still if one looked at the info - I can see why someone could get confused.

Here's the PM I sent him on Friday @ 2:44pm with his reply (which was read by me too late as I had already left for the weekend and did not read it until today):

Today I emailed his gmail account:

"Hey Kryder. So i frantically PM'd you on Friday before I left to go camping for the weekend. I didn't read your PM until just now, and I'm looking at the participant list and don't see my name. Can you PLEASE make an exception and let me play this one? I did technically send you my list on time, it just went to the wrong place. Find it in your heart to add me? I would love you forever please and thanks"

His response:

Hopefully Kryder will reconsider since this post does still mention PM as one of the methods for delivering decklists...definitely something to remove from the legalese for next tournament.

If he joins then we would have the 16th player we need to avoid byes.
