Because, as some hotel chains see it, if you allow the Bible in your rooms you have to allow other religious texts. Instead of having the end table drawer turn into a book shelf, they just remove all religous texts. So instead of Inclusion, you get Exclusion.

Absolutely but just having the bible is far more of an exclusion effort than having nothing, that's how I see it.

Anyway let's call a spade a spade, if you put all three I will guarantee you the koran and Torah will have more trace elements of ejaculate than the bedspread. Just leave all that crap out of the room.

Are 85% of Americans Christian though? If it's something like that I sort of get there being a bible in every room

According to this graph from a gallup poll taken from 2008 to 2015 you're not far off.

However, on that note, there's no reason to include the Torah, Bible and Koran. The Koran has both the first two and an additional 3rd text (Old Testament is the Torah, New Testament is what chistians added to The Torah to make The Bible, and the Koran is just an extension of those). That's an elementary understanding of the books but it's closer to the truth than the three being separate religions.

Some blistering guitar for you all on this glorious Friday (other than my construction jobs and my evening gig were rained out).
There aren't many versions of this song that compare with Jimi's but this is one.

Edit: I love how it looks like it's Dan Aykroyd playing that awesomely colored Jazz Bass
Edit Edit: Durp. It's a Precision Bass.

Regarding religion, I kinda of want to disagree with you guys because your incessant agreeing is nauseating. But in all honesty **** religion, every one of them, every god is dumber than the next and disagreements about sky daddy start the lions share of this world's problems.

More like Portuguese football team (or soccer team, for the people that call it that).

Happy birthday Fel! Buenos....fetos??? I don't know how you guys down there celebrate birthdays but I'm guessing it's somewhere between enjoying Portuguese chicken and overthrowing your government.

Thanks Barney! I'll replace the chicken for a good steak, though. And we've been overthrowing our goverment so often these days that I can hardly call that a birthday tradition (seriosly, House of Cards is like kindergarden compared to what happens here).

Not sure why you wished me "Good fetus" in spanish, though :P

Every one is worse than the last? There's nobody on the bottom of the pile? Kind of like the "turtles all the way" down argument ain't it?

I am of the opinion there is only one truth but many perspectives. Not all perspectives reveal the truth, maybe only one does. There are so many answers to the question like "Turtles all the way down" that it is impossible for them all to be correct. Where did we come from? Why is there a perfect ball of water land and air that supports life that if it were only slightly different (position/size/composition) would be unable to do so? Did life just spontaneously appear after some molecules bumped into each other so many times in a big bowl of primordial amino acid chicken soup? Did a turtle burp? Where do babies come from? Ill get back to you all on the last one after I do more research.

Don't get me started on religion.

The world would be a better place if it simply didn't exist.

Always nice to hear provocative opinions on religion that mirror my own.
Religion is a smile on a dog.
