My comprehensive rewrite, if I ever got around to finishing it, would probably change it into , no pitch, exile your graveyard and create a 1/1 black and green worm token for each card exiled this way.

Dunno if it's desirable to instead try to keep something of the functionality. But it would probably be best for it to be Pitch Creeping Renaissance rather than Pitch Praetor's Counsel. That would be my first move.

With the change to The Verdant Nimbus invocation I'm wondering if waterfall can come off of the banlist.

We have a few lands that can make waterfall into super ramp but no more locking creature decks out with spearland on turn 2 and no more tutoring out grafdigger's cages against combo either. Well, that second part can still happen but it's vulnerable to refused arcana shenanigans.

Sure, but we have the world's most insane Sylvan Scrying variant in Trailblaze. The only thing that makes it not all that great is the lack of key utility lands. While there's a lot of them that help you survive, it's difficult to find ones that win the game, so you need something to pump all your mana into.
One of the bigger nerfs to Waterfall is probably actually the rules change to land drops though, I don't think you can infinitely replay two Waterfalls off off each other assuming a bounce outlet (or sac outlet, given a Crucible effect.)

As an aside, Epithet of Seasons is colorless.

I noticed a few oddities in the 5WD cards while going through them, so I decided to brave the xml a bit:

Werewolf Hunter [R15], Tormenting Voice [R15], Niricon Skirmisher [ONE], Demoncult Idol [ARH], Coltrorr Charm [5WD], Channel the Maws [5WD], and Aldair Eamon, Scion of the Seal [COS] are in the xml twice as duplicate entries of the same set.
Sparksigil Apprentice [STS, VLT], Pacifism [TAR, UND] Oakenform [SGT, BLI/R15], and Meditation [NM3, CAT] are in the xml twice as part of different sets.

There are two different cards named Waterwhelm, in ASC and in VKC.

There are two different cards named Voice of Unity, in STS and CAT.

Rampaging Slagkite is listed as common, should be rare.

Null Echoes from 5WD is missing from the xml:
