Ugh that's enough of that garbage. I felt so powerless. How's a single Labyrinth Guardian going to win me the game? I have a beautiful opening hand of three land, two censor, Disentigration and Fiery Temper. I'm playing against Gruul energy. I censor Longtusk Cub and Caravan (was that a mistake?). I Fiery Temper Hydra before it gets its energy and I Disentigrate Heart of Kiran.

I play Guardian and Copter. I cut to ribbons Nissa Vastwood seer cuz he's at six mana. With Ribbons in my yard and he has Hazoret with 3-4 cards, I'm thinking I'm okay. But he quickly drops Verd Gesrhulk and Glorybringer and Harassed Lightning to activate Hazoret and swing for a ton. He's at 8 land, I'm at 7 and only draw into another Guardian and Picker. Gg. He was at 8 life. And I had ribbons waiting for 5

You don't need to worry about that, but generally don't leave black if you have to choose 1. There's nothing in the other colors that can really screw you up for 1 mana. At 2 there are more options, so use your judgement. Also, you don't have to use Rubble that often, but it's a major tempo play under the right conditions. Either way, you get to time walk them... almost.

Also, I don't really recommend keeping a 2 lander, unless you've got a lot of action in it. There's not much draw in the deck. But yeah, to feel good about 2 it probably needs red and blue.

Also, guardians and Scrounger are in the deck, because you don't mind discarding them. That opening hand you might have been scared to keep, is probably okay, if it includes a 4/3 2 drop and binning a card that comes back - same with most of the aftermath spells. They are all pretty good in the yard. We don't care if they end there, in some cases we even prefer it.

You are never supposed to take a no creature hand, lol. That was a terrible keep. You wanted 3 power on the board on t2, always. Censor is to protect your creatures, not counter their crap, lol.

That's okay though. I'm working on something more BB. Sorry that one failed you. Thanks for trying it out.

For the record I usually look for 2/3 creatures and 1/2 interaction. I'd never keep a hand full of spells (all creatures would be superior by a long way, btw) - that's true of basically any deck I make. (Would you have kept 2 harnessed lightning, a temper, and a UD in vehicles, with no creatures?)

it was fun to play, don't sweat it. I love your decks. But yeah i think we can agree this one isn't my style at all. I'm holding onto the censors and i want to cycle them SO BAD cuz I want to draw a creature so I can play normal

yeah, i would keep that hand in Radkos Vehicles and do often enough, I win every time I'm so overconfident with your Radkos deck it's sick. I fear nothing.

there was no way I was going to throw away that hand, i had beautiful land all sorts of cheap early removal and counters. It looked perfect to me but yeah I get it isn't accomplishing what the deck is supposed to do. When you say censor is to protect my creatures and not counter their caca, I know I'll never be able to play that right cuz I see their crap as a threat but man was countering the caravan a little stupid maybe. I didn't want him ramping at all tho. i was only plugging him for 2 a turn, it was brutal.

Well one of my wins was 2 a turn, for like 6 turns, lol. It was brutal for me too. But yeah, no big deal. I'm working on Selesnya right now. 2-0 so far, we'll see if it goes the distance. (Selesnya, not because it's strong, but because it's not Grixis colors - feels like everything I build these days contains black.)

I got wrecked against a 91 card fat-stack yesterday. It was so demoralizing. I drew nothing but removal and the dune was playing creatureless walker spam. Even played Planar Bridge which totally wrecked me actually, dropping a walker every f@cking turn. An Ob nix ultimate + cruel reality did me in...

Damn... I felt so f@cking salty, that's the second time Planar Bridge wrecked me this season (other deck was simic ramp) when I'd never seen ot on the ladder before...
