Someone mentioned they thought this hack was crashing the game. Is that for real? I mean I get they broke the color wheel since Stalwart has converge so I could see that somehow messing the game up but I just don't know anything about this stuff. I tried a few games this morning and none would connect. Played the AI for a bit but it constantly kept kicking me to offline mode. I figured it was something to do with the gold issues and possibly shutdowns/updates but now it makes me wonder if it was this stuff.

The game has been sluggish AF since the set dropped if I'm honest. 3-4 mins of joining session, a minute at the end of games to retrieve gold (sometimes going offline). Guessing this is to do with the influx of returning players?

I don't have steam on my work computer, but you can check the amount of players by hour and by day and so on through the Steam Page.

How is he not banned?

Largely lack of Steam and/or Stainless giving a damn. There's literally no prizes or anything for being high rank in this game, so why bother punishing someone whose greatest crime is occasionally dinging someone 1 point of rank that doesn't matter?

Well for me the reward for being 35-40 is that you get to play against real(ish) decks more. My abzan went 0-3 vs a pretty sweet PW deck using new Lily/Vital Force/Recursion/Mindbenders earlier, I just couldn't draw Never or Anguish in any of the games, but it was a lot of fun and my opponent played well. I also learned something after holding Arrogance in hand for 1 turn too long even though they had a Mindbender in the gy and Lili in play (mainly to not be so dumb and pay attention ). I don't tend to get good games at lower ranks, half the players seem to instantly dc and I end up playing against the **** AI using some janky white aggro deck and being bored out of my mind.

If it's only one guy, then I guess it's not a huge deal, but this is the sort of thing (alongside "network errors" and "disconnected") that can break a game. I know that if I feel that the fun matches are being overwhelmed by having to play the Ai , cheaters and disconnects then I wouldn't play the game anymore.

Well so far, it's just him that causes havoc on steam. Next time you run into him just leave the game and move on to the next one.
