Haganai was pretty good. Slice of life kind of thing. I guess there's a romance sub plot but it rarely comes up.

Does anyone know if the new Code Geass thing is getting a dub?

Not current on Anime, but favorite serious series was Gasaraki, by a long shot. Favorite movie was a toss up between Ghost in the Shell (the one with the spider tank at the end) and Akira. Favorite comedy is Slayers (every season is about the same). "FIREBALL!!" Although Martian Successor Nadesico was fun, too, for a comedy. I want a gravity blast cannon for Christmas!

A distortion field would be fine, too...

Thats what I get for posting while tired.

Well, I love the chaotic comedies most. There's a reason Excel Saga ranks really high in my book.
And this year we had a pretty good one as well in Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san.

It also has the best Cicada expression ever in an anime.

I love anime. I'm a regular follower of new anime every season.

I'm excited (and kinda sad) for Shigeki no Kyojin's final ep in a few days. :( Gatchaman Crowds and Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi are unexpected gems, while Symphogear was just disappointing. :-/ Majestic Prince was great, and so was Prisma Illya. :)

Valvrave and IS 2 coming up next season! Can't wait. :-P

They're ending it or is it just the season? Because the manga isn't going to end for a decade. Authoer announced he wants to continue for 20 more volumes.

Anything worth watching coming up in the Fall? Pretty much a straight forward action/comedy guy. Obviously am into Shigeki, but was also really enjoying Maou-sama/Devil is a Part-Timer and the monogatari series.

So agreed, I don't really watch the Mahou Shoujo genre but Prisma Illya is pretty fantastic, esp episode 6.

I just decided to give Sword Art Online a spin. I think I'm up to episode nine so far and I'm rather enjoying it.

Hm, I heard mostly bad things about Kaminai, wasn't really interested in the premise to begin with either. Gatchaman was good from what I heard though, and I enjoyed Symphogear...for the duets and suit designs mainly XD.

Can't wait for IS2 and the trainwreck that will be the second season of Valvrave ;).

Recently watched Freezing, that was actually pretty fun, though a lot of T&A.

Fav would be Steins:Gate. Anyone here watched Katanagatari? It is really good.

I watch anywhere from a few to many shows per season...depends on how busy I am and how much I like the shows. This season was surprisingly slim for me, mainly due to time.

Whats your favorite comedy so far this season JaC? Mondaiji is probably my pick right now, though Boku wa and TWGOK are close behind.

Erm... ... isn't Boku wa like last last season's anime??

And the Blazblue anime is coming out next season???

Stein's Gate was awesome except for the gender bending part. it's just not entertaining to me. To me it would be like watching a comedy and then having a scene right out of one of the Saw movies in the middle ( assuming you don't like gore). it's a preference thing. To me is just not entertaining... Basically any anime that had it in it loses a star at least from me...
