It was in MindStorms in 2013, there was actually a combo that I used a few times with the Sphinx and with Djinn of Wishes were I would cast a creature from the top of my library on blocking phases.

Difference between older stuff we had and the Vizier is that Vizier is a peek whenever you want rather than constantly revealing the top card.

There was a cool poker tournament tonight with a 500k guarantee (which is a huge overlay for only 1.2k players) but i can't really play on day two (Sunday) so I'm gonna skip it and play digital magic instead. Couldn't be happier

Finished +1209 on Friday and +1102 on Wednesday. Very solid takes, both were about 4-5 hour sessions of 2/5 (second was a straddle game, so 2/5/10)

You max buy-in? In the first game, shouldn't you stop once you hit 1,250 stack? Seems like that's way too deep stack to play

Well, "mandatory" straddle. Everyone agreed to straddle every hand. Anyone could choose not to, but if they did, everyone else would stop straddling.

And yes, I always max buy in, and I love when stacks get 400+ BBs deep. Alot of solid players get either timid playing super deep or they just suck at playing later streets of action. Since I'm a more aggro player, I can bloat some pots, which doesn't really bug me, but can really negatively affect some other players.
