So I bought coins and they aren't showing up. Anybody know what the deal is there? There goes my night of brewing new decks.

Yeah, was short about quarter of the set without Brawlers, PWs, Cast Out or most copies of Censor so I tried to chuck the £10 or so steam wallet I've had lying around at it. Nothing happened, money is still in the wallet. *sigh*

Weird. I'm on xbox but I'm afraid to try purchasing again. Last time this happened I got charged twice.

Looking on the sub its quite common on the PC version this patch, no idea on Xbox I'm afraid.

Story missions aren't giving me coins either. Yeah, something bugged out big time.

Avoid buying for now, and if the coins do not happer by the next server refresh, just open a Support Ticket.

I tried buying coins and it hasn't worked (Steam). On the plus side for me I'm still earning coins from online duels today despite the fact it says I've reached my limit.

Another visual glitch.

I bought a few coins last night on iOS and it worked fine.

This would happen during ORI season as well. You would see the 30g during the WIN screen, but if you check your bank, no change.

I wasn't seeing the 30g during win screen but my gold was going up 30g each win. Went on for about 4-5 wins after it said I reached my limit, enough for another pack. Maybe the limit announcement kicked in a little early for me.

Awesome. Good find then, I just stopped playing when I hit my cap. Gonna try when I get home from work in about 40 mins.

I just realized I missed an opportunity this morning. I could have woken up a couple hours early, driven to Tim's to get a coffee, go home and play Magic until it's time for work. I think I should have done that cuz now I'm at work and I can't stop thinking of building decks and which avatar to use (the new sleeve is AWESOME btw, and I don't have the hard-on for Grixis that Hakeem does).

oh! I forgot to check for new backgrounds! Can someone do a quick flip through them and let me know if there are new ones? I would like new egyptian stuff to go with 2 of the new avatars. Chandra's new avatar is cool but I think I really like Lily's the most...maybe

gold cap is still 400 but the notice kicks in at 200

there's a notice? That's sort of cool. I wonder why there would be a notice, i can't think of any value that adds. Still kind of cool but what a weird thing to put effort into.

And it's a visual glitch. Players can keep earning coins by battling AI and MP, they just don't show in either animation or combat nodes. But the total is saved.

oh, i thought it was a new notice saying, "you're halfway there! Keep it up, loser!" but you're saying it's the actual cap notice that is incorrectly popping early? Ugh


..wait a minute... do you think that they meant to reduce the cap to 200 and forgot to program the cap (but programmed the notice correctly)?

Nah. I'm still getting gold too. I don't keep exact count of my wins/gold but I had flushed the ~4800 gold I had. Put me at 20 gold. I remember this because I tried to buy gold, it didn't work. I then made enough to buy 2 more packs (+300) and was sitting at 140 (+120). So it's definitely giving gold past the 400 cap.

I got no other message until I hit 420. I don't know what this 200g message he talks about is.

Hey Honze, sorry to keep harping on this but tonight i'm going to play until I hit the cap so I just want to understand the glitch. Tell me if this is right:

- the 400 cap still exists
- you get an incorrect notice at 200 that you hit 400, but you are still in fact still earning gold
- after that notice, you no longer get a visual clue that you are earning gold but your total DOES go up correctly

is that right?

Sixty, things seem more or less normal on your end?
