Villagers is already fine for a 3-mana 2/3, but it's upside is sweet!

What the heck is a local enchantment (re: hope charm). But Villagers is the pick regardless.

If Villagers wasn't there, I would be tempted to go with Hope Charm. Clicking on Hope Charm and reading the Gatherer results, I see that "local" enchantments used to be the name for Enchantment - Auras.

Yeah, Local and Global enchantments was the buzzwordese used by WotC in Mirage block (and perhaps a little after) to differentiate between auras and not.

Villagers for me.

I'm surprised more people aren't considering Oaken Brawler. Card was very, very good in Lorwyn limited.

But Villagers is probably the correct choice.

I'm actually thinking Leonin Bola to turn any of our creatures into a Goldmeadow Harrier.

You can ping pong it too, so tapping any number of guys for 2 colorless each. Bola seems really good.

Bola is my pick as well -- tapping down creatures in a creature-based format is pretty much removal.

I was thinking port, but when we get to use it, they won't feel it. Bola

I really want to take Crusher Zendikon, but Bola is better.

Wow, a few good cards; Heat Ray, Shackles, and Chronosavant. I think Chronosavant is the right choice. He's a 5/5 for 6 - not ideal, but in this format probably will be one of the big boys. Then we can return him from the graveyard at our opponent's end-step while having a few instants in hand. The return clause isn't universally fantastic, but there'll be a couple times we'll probably want to use it.

EDIT: Changed to Heat Ray.

Chronosavant looks like a card you wanna play as a "win" con in a group hug EDH deck with a sac outlet in play.

But the pick's Heat Ray for me.

Yeah, you're probably right. Switching it up.

Shackles

Two Pacifisms are better than one. This one can even be switched to a bigger threat later on. Heat Ray is OK, but Shackles are better, and on-color. Plus, we have the Bola, so we can Shackle vigilant creatures too.
