Blue: - Trial of Knowledge (Very likely, full cycle)
- Vizier of the Tumbling Sand (Likely, cycling theme)
- Open into Wonder (50/50, its an effect we don't have in Duels yet, and I could see this making it into W/U embalm)
- Sacred Excavation (Unlikely, way too narrow)
- Galestrike (Unlikely, we have enough of this type of card and the devs are starting to learn)
- Zenith Seeker (Likely, will probably go in the cycling theme deck because reasons...)
- Hieroglyphic Illumination (50/50, will depend how far down the cycling rabbit hole they want to go, we have enough 4 mana draw 2 effects)
- Cryptic Serpent (Likely, its a beginner friendly card)
- Censor (Unlikely, the devs hate the idea of 2 mana counters that aren't specific in their targets)
- Labyrinth Guardian (Very likely, fits in the embalm theme deck if that ends up being W/U)
- Lay Claim (50/50, not that it'd bother me either way, but its another PW hitter that could bother poor Timmy...)
- Angler Drake (Likely, looks like the sort of 6 mana Blue creature they'd dump on us)
My guesses for 7 will be:
1. Trial
2. Vizier
3. Zenith Seeker
4. Cryptic Serpent
5. Labyrinth Guardian
6. Angler Drake
7. Open into Wonder
(if we get 8, then Lay Claim too)
Black: - Trial of Ambition (Very likely, full cycle)
- Stir the Sands (Likely, cycling theme)
- Baleful Ammit (50/50, the sort of Black creature I could see us getting, but the cycling + zombie support leaves little room)
- Ruthless Sniper (Likely, works in the cycling decks)
- Bone Picker (50/50, I want it, but again the room is thin here)
- Faith of the Devoted (Likely, cycling support)
- Lord of the Accursed (Very likely, if we don't get this then Zombies.dec take a huge blow)
- Grim Strider (50/50, depends if they want to add minor league hellbent support)
- Nest of Scarabs (Unlikely, other themes to support here)
- Lay Bare the Heart (Unlikely, very little room for them to give us an effect they seem bent on denying Duels, even if I want it and it seems fair)
- Gravedigger (100% Not happening, we already have it
)
My guesses for 7:
1. Trial
2. Stir the Sands
3. Ruthless Sniper
4. Faith of the Devoted
5. Lord of the Accursed
6. Grim Strider
7. Bone Picker
(if we get 8, then Baleful Ammit too)
Red: - Trial of Zeal (Very likely, full cycle)
- Deem Worthy (Likely, cycling theme)
- Trueheart Twins (Likely, exert seems to be the key theme for Red in AHK)
- Warfire Javelineer (Unlikely, other mechanics need some love in Red)
- Bloodrage Brawler (50/50, the devs might just think 4 power at 2 mana is a bit much with all the HoK bashing
)
- By Force (Unlikely, as much as Red needs its artifact smashing spells, I could see them not finding this beginner friendly)
- Battlefield Scavenger (Likely, exert seems to be strong in Red)
- Consuming Fervor (Likely, not many other auras this set)
- Flameblade Adept (Very likely, this seems to be a popular card all around)
- Ahn-Crop Crasher (Likely, exert needs some representation)
- Limits of Solidarity (50/50, cycling gets it there despite being another steal effect)
My guesses for 7:
1. Trial
2. Deem Worthy
3. Trueheart Twins
4. Battlefield Scavenger
5. Consuming Fervor
6. Flameblade Adept
7. Ahn-Crop Crasher
(if we get 8, then Bloodrage Brawler)
Green: - Trial of Strength (Very likely, full cycle)
- Shefet Monitor (Likely, cycling theme)
- Defiant Greatmaw (50/50, it does seem like the gimped creature Duels would get)
- Scaled Behemoth (50/50, they might just see it as another ramp target?)
- Hapatra's Mark (Unlikely, we have effects like this already)
- Watchful Naga (Likely, exert showcasing)
- Maglehorn (Likely, I think this will be a bone tossed to the newer players struggling against the more artifact heavy Vehicle builds lower on the ladder)
- Exemplar of Strength (Very likely, another poster child card like Flameblade Adept)
- Crocodile of the Crossing (Likely, shows off Green's counter theme)
- Sixth Sense (50/50, could be seen as strong but is also one of the few auras this set)
- Synchronised Strike (Unlikely, dime a dozen for this sort of card in Duels)
My guesses for 7:
1. Trial
2. Shefet Monitor
3. Watchful Naga
4. Manglehorn
5. Exemplar of Strength
6. Crocodile
7. Sixth Sense
(if 8, then Scaled Behemoth)
Multicolour/Colourless: - The full uncommon cycle of dual coloured creatures (10 cards total)
- Either the full uncommon Aftermath cycle OR the full Monument cycle (5 cards total)
- Whichever the above isn't a cycle, there will be 2 cards from it. So for artifacts that's Watchers of the Dead, Embalmer's Tools or Edifice of Authority.
So when all is said and done, 7 uncommons per colour, 10 multicoloured cards, a full cycle of either the Monuments or Aftermath and 2 cards from the other will total at 52 uncommons.
