Also, here is a record of site growth by month:

September: 174 new members
October: 83 new members
November: 108 new members
December: 46 new members

Right now we are on track to surpass our November membership gains, and that's awesome!

Not necessarily. Buddy of mine runs a very small phpBB forum for his gameday groups, and despite the fact that there's probably fewer then 10 posts a week on it, they have a program that catches several hundred spambots trying to make accounts a day.

The site already dealt with a slew of spambots earlier, but I believe Slobad and Welder handled that assault quickly and gracefully.
