Stainless dev 1: Our plan for Amonkhet is to include only vanilla creatures.
Stainless dev 2: What about vanilla enchantments and planeswalkers?
Stainless dev 1: You will go very far at Stainless.

I think most people don't give a **** about story but sounds possibly interesting that they're mixing things up with the trials idea, not sure if that means a generally bigger campaign like the original Origins campaign or not though.
Sounded like it could be like that though, each trial having its own set of battles.

Also yeah Gift looking to be in Hour like Bolas, which that Grixis card is also waiting for.

I originally thought curses would be no go but they can do that thing they do with fogs and mark the player avatar as cursed so that could be interesting maybe.

Those two new 1 drop zombies have me excited. They aren't great or anything, but more 1 drops for :b::w: zombies means more consistency with that T4 win scenario I mentioned earlier. Since that is still lethal with any of the 1 drop zombies on T1 (still 20 damage total by T4 rather than 22 with Wanderer).

So it would seem like I will be messing around with Orzhov Zombies, Temur Fog, Golgari -1/-1 counters Rock, and probably Naya Zoo (maybe humans) as soon as we get the set.

@DJ I feel like it could potentially be built around. That was something I was thinking about myself.

Ok, so not counting basic lands, there are 249 cards in the set. We get 150+ (which prob means like 151).

So we gotta cut 98 cards and keep 151. Best way to do that is to use this formula I've devised to reveal with 100% accuracy which cards Duels will be getting:

- Put all common/uncommon cards that have a duplicate effect to stuff we already have into the guaranteed-to-get pile.
- Put all garbage commons and/or vanilla cards into the guaranteed-to-get pile.
- Put all the garbage cards with mechanics specific to the set/block (deck wizard archetypes) into the guaranteed-to-get pile.
- Put the rare/mythic you think is the absolute worst into the guaranteed-to-get pile.

- Eliminate all cards that require you to name another card.
- Eliminate the card you're most excited about.
- Eliminate the mythic/rare you think is clearly the best.
- Eliminate all cards that have a complicated effect. What exactly qualifies as "complicated", you ask? Be generous with your definition.
- Eliminate the best card from each mechanic specific to the set/block (deck wizard archetypes).
- Eliminate the commons/uncommons that are vital to the support of an archetype you like but haven't been able to make good-enough yet.

- Are you at 151 with what's left combined with the guaranteed-to-get pile? If not, eliminate the best fixing/ramp cards from what's left and recheck previous question. If still not, keep eliminating cards you like the most until you get to 151.

- Voila! Now you know what we're getting. You're welcome.

Green got a 1-mana kill Copter spell that also turns Aethersphere Harvester into a 0/2 flying lifelinker. You can't hate more on Vehicles than that. Actually you can, because it cycle, so main-decking it is feasible...
