Gem, can the king play anyone in the waiting area or does it have to be the guy on the top?

Right now my interpretation is that Vert can play the person on the top of the main list or anyone in the waiting area, is that right? Just trying to grasp how the waiting area works. Thanks!

Just to let everyone know, Vert and I have been in contact with one another for the past few days now trying to get our match going but our schedules haven't been lining up. I'm hoping we get something done tonight if possible. I'll keep you posted.

I've also been in contact with Doey, who hit me back with "?" so I don't know if I should move on or what, because he seems confused by the existence of KOTH.

he announced he wasn't playing if he couldn't play by today. Maybe cuz there's not enough time left to make playoffs? Gem has been on a down lately with Magic so I don't blame him. I'm glad he's still running things at least (which I have to say he's been doing flawlessly for a few weeks now)

I'm taking a break from Duels and I will not be part of the next tournament. Perhaps the one after that.

The glacial pace of getting matches to occur is what's really killing the fun of KOTH. Switching it up so the King can play one of multiple people will help. However, it still doesn't address the availability of the King

i think it's fine. We can't be having a match a day, it's way too much pressure for a good, consistent king. Pure used to try to line up 3 matches in a single evening. That was really cool cuz it grouped in challengers and was a fun night.
