Umm I like it...at first I thought the Distempers were the worst card there, worse that TitStr, for example...but making Dragoons almost always fly must be a good bonus, plus the trample prevents Thopter chumpblocking, survive Copter...I can see the reasons

What worries me is the 18 lands...don't do that man, go to 20, believe me it isn't that you need many lands... but you certainly need the land drops till 3, and to play 2-3 spells per turn to close the game, you can't really cash on your speed without mana

Are people ignoring the "you can use all the lands" rule and going hard-core pauper? That's a gutsy move...

Those were the ones I would use, too. But yeah, if I have to choose between suffering 6-7 losses for one win with nothing but commons or 5-6 losses for one win with almost nothing but commons, may as well go hardcore. I'd cave if it were 3 colors tho. Running >4 etb-tapped lands is just suicide.

Yer prolly right about the land count. But I kept flooding in my ladder games. I figure if you get lucky enough to start with a 3-lander, you should have as good a shot as possible with the deck. >3 in the starter means the shuffler has already decided you will lose - either mull those lands away and never see another one or keep em and enjoy drawing 8 more (if the game lasts that long).

I've got an idea for a future contest:

Deck with 4 fogs & 4 festivities.

It would be interesting to see what kind of goofy combo decks we could come up with, with these as the basis.

If anyone is against the idea, well... Its just an idea...

Then people are going to have to pull out their premium spike builds to make their way back to R40 before the update drops...

Who cares about ranks? I think I have reached 40 in barely a couple of expansions...in one I think I stoped to bother at 38 or so, lol

I think it's in everyone's best interest if there are only 5(ish) decks this round. Not feeling blue that I didn't have time to do one. Prob would have looked more or less the same as 1/2 the others at least.
