FINAL DECK TIERS

Now that we have all 21 decks, we could put every and single one of them on a tier list. Dunno if here on goblins you did something like this for the past DotP, but it should be nice listen everyone opinion on this. The number of tiers should be at your discretion... i would recomend 5 or 6, but its all up to you.

also, if you are an experienced 2HG player, you could work those tiers here too, by naming wich combos are the best.

God Tier: Not arguing about Tier Lists.

Well, someone sure is early.. Give it a month or two and then we can start talking about final deck tiers with any kind of authority.

Never gonna happen. Always gonna be somebody who disagrees with a tier list, and since this isn't a fighter, and a great portion of data is based on deck builds, luck and opponents luck, tier lists will always be flawed outside of 'these few are better than the rest, and these few are worse'.

This may not be the last deck pack... If it is everyone is sorely disappointed...

(This is going off me hoping!!! Even 2012 had a better deck selection for play styles... Even if the game was broken)

A) This is the last deck pack they had planned far enough ahead for hackers to find out about it.

B) You can't place the last two decks in a tier list until people have actually used them. At least once. Maybe twice. On every system, not just 1v1 only ipad. Maybe HS2 is better in 2HG than how it's doing in 1v1? Who knows?

Beginning of next year most likely. I think 2013's final deck pack came out January 9.

Top Tier - Avacyn's Glory Deadwalkers

Bottom Tier - Dragons Slivers

Everything Else Tier - Everything else. Hunter's Strength is at the bottom of this tier.

I can't possibly agree that Dragons is worse than Hunter's Strength...everything else looks about right...

Is there where I step in and challenge you to a "First to 5" set of games between HS and Dragons? HA

I would take that...
Actually played dragons twice (in a row, yay random...) against Draco earlier.
Against elves, I was able to hit some ramp early, and get a big board presence quickly...that would work against HS.

Next game, against slivers, again, I was able to ramp early and hit Form of the Dragon on T5. HS has what, 2 cards that get around that...

Yeah, I know dragons can't answer predator ooze, but that's slower, so...I'll take my dragons!

Plus, it's great in 2HG and FFA

But can Dragons handle a T2 Companion/Tusker, T3 Rancor? Maybe if you get a Maelstrom Pulse? Or a Hatchling +devour and Soul's Fire.

You know, as I was tying up something (including that I don't run Hatchling or soul's fire...) I thought, "hey, let's look and see what my record is...I mean, well over 1000 games played, it has to have come up before, right?
Yeah...I've played Dragons 3 times against HS (2-1) and I've played HS once against Dragons (and won).
So...that's not much to go on...it's almost like people don't play either of those decks...for me, I've played with those two 12.33% of my games, and against them 8.74% of the time.

Out of the non-deck pack decks...I've played against dragons the least out of any - 3.13% of the time...

No one like dragons but me, I guess...

I like dragons. I just wish it were a better deck because it isn't.

This is just for me playing with and against my decks, but here is how I would rate them.

If I had to guess, the artifact deck will end up about 12 and HS2 will end up towards the bottom.

They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

^^ Aside from Hall and Boon, I mostly agree with your list. Everything else is within a couple spaces of where I would put it.

Bant is too land dependant to be in the top 10, and Boon...... that deck starts a little too slow and has some serious tempo issues early on.

I haven't encouintered Dodge and Burn as much as you guys have Online, but... I just roflstomped it in pretty short order with Hunter's Strength...
Neither deck missed a land-drop so mana screw wasn't a thing*. He drew tons of cards, so he couldn't have been short of options.
It was simply a straight up Predator Ooze + Vorapede mauling.


*Although I did set him back an island with Bramblecrush.
