With the poor removal in this set and the general advantage that evasion provides in limited, Sentry is a bomb.

I'm with Holck. The screwing with your mana base to splash sentry doesn't seem worth it.

I want some more black perms to crank up that devotion. Right now Gary over Thassa seems kind of silly, but I bet we can swing it (and do think it was, in abstract, the right pick)

I'm not going to rush to judgment with a whole pack left to pick, but playing one plains for one card with 1 off-color and an on-devotion symbol when you have 2 unicorns isn't "screwing with our mana base".

I really wish we didn't have to play 2 unicorns...

That said, we seem to be light on playables, so we might end up having to.

Man, if anyone else is doing Blue/Black, our deck will really put the screws to them with Dark Betrayal and two Gainsays!
