Vert 2, Reshfuu 1

I was extremely lucky to go first every game.

Game 1, we both mulliganed to 6 and had slow draws. The smaller hand hurt me a ton as I was unable to turn the game around as Disciple came out a turn too late to rescue me from Pia and Kiran going face. 0-1

Game 2, I get a great start but he stablizes. I gambol dropping Disciple with minimal cover, but it was the right move as I held him off pretty much the Disciple vs. the world. Also, I had two Radiant Flames in hand which blew him out long enough. 1-1.

Game 3 was alot like Game 2. We both had slow-ish starts, but that got me to 7 mana, so I slammed Disciple. I failed to keep a second red source because I am dumb as hell. I barely had enough gas to keep him going. Eventually I was going to be unable to save him, so I said **** it and used the mana to reanimate Scrounger. Eventually I empty his hand with a Mindbender and survive a turn before the Skysovereign can end my night.

TLDR: Thank beautiful tiny infant Jesus for Disciple of the Ring, the most thoroughly underrated card in all of Duels.

lol, I couldn't believe it when you ditched your second Mountain (while holding spells), keeping a 3rd u/b dual instead in G3. What a crazy game. Mindbender so boss to empty his hand. Disciple is a god; that is all. GGs. Glad to see 2 decks that beat me in the final 4.

I lost 1-2, really fun games! I won the first game and then Disciple of the Ring crushed me in the next 2 games. I made a couple mistakes in game 3 like completely forgetting about dark intimations and walking my chandra into it instead of playing whirler rogue first, and my final suicide attack but i assumed vert had the burn next turn anyway. I still should have played it out properly but i think Disciple had broken my will to live by then!
