Well... either he had > 3 lands and just didn't feel like playing them, or he kept a 1, 2, or 3 lander. I can't remember if he mulled, but he def had 7 cards so, yeah, I'm gonna guess he had at least 2, quite possibly all 3 in his opening hand. Poor PW-guy... (I'm getting a bit sour over all the PW decks in the mid-30s, if you can't tell. I don't mind going against them now and then, but it seems like its over 50% of the games now. I shouldn't be whining tho... its still better than Turbofog).

That's that litmus test I was talking about in the other thread. It's a very bad sign if you're losing to pw.deck.

I've been very lucky with my quests and have been getting ones I can do with my contest deck for the past 4 or 5 days, so I've been playing a lot with it on the ladder. I'm 20-10 (rank 40) with it right now, which is reasonable.

Doing fine as well; haven't counted exactly but I'm somewhere in fel's ballpark in terms of W/L (maybe even slightly higher, but I haven't encountered too many metagame decks).

my deck is fun but isnt inside the color restrictions. Its not a good deck, but forcing it to be dimir made it terrible. I am not good enough a deck builder to be color restricted and come up with a unique functional deck. May have to just skip this one or submit a boring build.

I think I've settled on a reasonable build. I don't really have the time to test it as much as I would, but it's got a good record online so far, and doesn't really have any questionable cards. I also had some trouble meeting the color requirements. Dimir is just hard to do right now. There isn't much power - at least not in an artifact deck. I'm really curious to see these lists.

I ditched my former build, in favor of a new approach. Had another idea that may work, but haven't gotten around to actually building it.
But alas, the rules say 1 deck per person...

Yeah, I missed that 1 deck rule... so now I've got to decide. I think I know which I'll choose, but I still want to test the other - time permitting.

There is no actually a 1 deck rule written somewhere, but i think it is a common sense rule since it gives to more people the possibility to join without having a 10+ decks contest. Anyway i suppose anyone can convince another people to submit his second decklist...
Also remember you can send me any number of decklists, but i will consider the last one submitted for the contest.

It is literally correct, good job. I wrote that more than a month ago, when there were no precise rules but only an idea for something spicy. Also my memory is not that good...

On my fifth deck idea and I may have a tier 2 or 2.5 deck put together, haven't tested enough. I'm sure it will drive maggit crazy cuz I don't follow the rule book.

The rest of my stuff was absolute hawt garbage (sometimes rules are good).

A quick reminder: tomorrow is the last day to submit a decklist. I have 6 accepted decklists till now, 1 in standby and i could add mine if they are not too many, since it is different from every other decklist. But from some recent posts here it seems there are at least other 2/3 people willing to join.

I'll be submitting something tomorrow. One of my candidates had some issues last night. I have a few ideas that might make it better, but haven't had a chance to try them out yet.
