She seems cool. Her character design isn't as exciting to me as Sombra's or Ana's were, but I respect the aesthetic they went for.

I'm always excited for new heroes, but I'll really have to play the game to get an idea of how much I like the character (in terms of both gameplay and personality). I might hop on the PTR tonight if I have time. Having a new option for tanks will be neat.

So, here's a question for all physics meisters.

So, a photokinetic is fighting against an aeromancer. In case the form decides to pulverise the later with a beam of light, does the airbender get to deflect it, somehow?

Water, earth and metal are all excellent light reflecters. What about air?

Air can lens light so if they're clever they could have a defense.

Orisa is bae. Logan is the greatest superhero movie ever made, hands down.

I'm still going to see it, but Cracked ran a pretty solid article showing how Logan was basically plot point by plot point remake of Children of Men, which was a great movie, so at least it has a good foundation under it plus Wolverine stabbing things and grunting.

I've heard that it is much better than the Old Man Logan comic. Also that the comic wasn't that good. Also that they're basically unrelated.

Honestly, you don't go see Logan for the story. You go for Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart.
And the little girl too. She does well.

I'm psyched for Kong: Skull Island though.

Every single plot for everything ever has been made already, so that's not really a good metric to rate things.

Also every mechanic is kicker, and every song is actually about sex or drugs.

Air can absolutely reflect light.

You know that phenomenon where you're driving along a hot asphalt road in the summer and it looks like there's water on the road ahead of you, but as you get closer, it disappears? That's because the air near the road is hotter, and so less dense, so it reflects light.

Air can deflect light, but it's not exactly the best material for it. At close range that seems pretty hard to pull off. Density is a good point, but how much control does an airbender even have over air temperature? And how fast can they react? (For that matter, does the photomancer do their thing instantly, or is an involved process?)
Best bet for the airbender would be to kick up some dust.

Completly depends on the skill of the airbender. Its shown in Korra that some earthbenders can be born to control the temperature of rock to become lava benders, Im sure some airbenders can control temperature or density.

I'm pretty sure that lava benders don't control rock temp so much as they vibrate the rock particles until they melt.
