Time to vote for the best flicker deck ever built, in the last week. Here's the rules: viewtopic.php?p=538926#p538926
Anyone can join this poll, by building all these decks and testing them. Then you can vote up to 2 decklists, the one with the best record and if you want the one with the second best record or a decklist that you enjoyed particularly.
It will be nice if you can also post the record for any decklist and leave feedbacks for the decks you enjoyed. Only the best decklist will win, but having feedbacks for all the decklists is appreciated and also a reward for people who joined this contest.
Let's see the options:

Blinkophonic aka Bant Tempo

Blinkism aka Esper Revolt

Blinkology aka Grixis Hulks

Blinkotomy aka Temur Fog Burn

Blinkodrome aka Grixis Flameshadow Fireweaver

Blinkomatic aka Orzhov Tokens

Blinkaholic aka Bant Willbreaker Tempo Control

We have again 7 decklists, but this time decklists are anonymous. These are the participants (in alphabetical order): callmemaggit, -DarkShock-, divinevert, Haven_pt, Sl33pHumper, TheFlakyMage, The Secret of Timh.
So have fun testing them and feel free to shame the crappiest one, and let's see who is the best (flicker) deckbuilder!

I like the Reckless Fireweaver angle in deck 5 although not sure about flameshadow in there. There are some weird decks I will need to try to see if they actually do what it looks like they are trying to do, i'm pretty sure you can't flicker Willbreaker without loosing all the creatures you stole. I can see deck 6 working pretty well as a revolt control type, but probably could use a Call of Unity for finisher power.

Now you are excluded from decklist 5 and decklist 6 :P. Or maybe trying to confuse people...

I would have guesses there would be at least 1 valor deck... Oh well. I like deck 4's idea, I can almost guess who the builder is.

Bwhahahha...love them! Just 2 decks play Reflectors, and that means that most people has tried to do something weird or original, instead of just spiking the build. Yay!

Oh, and congrats to Speedy Gonzales&friends for testing the 7 decks in a couple hours and already give their vote :V

K, let's build them

Edit: I can clearly see which ones are almost surely the best from a purely functional point of view...another 2 that I'm aching to test cause they look pretty fun, and another 2 that I don't really seem to understand...my second vote will go to the most enjoyable build, not the 2º most successful, to somehow reward the creativity people has shown in this round

You can always change your vote later, if your feeling changes after testing em.

just printed off the lists. I can only test these wednesday and thursday evening. MAYBE a bit later tonight but I'm going to be p00ped from watched the Oscars last night so late.

Hope I have time to give these a proper run-through for your dancing and dining pleasure. I hate that they're just listed as decklists 1 through 7. They should have titles at the very least to distinguish them (but then people might vote for the most fun title, who knows).

anyway looking forward to it!

Yeah i agree with maggit. There is a week for the poll, so for anyone who wanna join it i say build all these decks and test them before voting.

@BBarney Yeah no idea how to call them leaving them anonymous. Some people gave them a name, but only half of them so i preferred not to write it.

can we update the poll with those please?

Also, is there really no Valor is Asskros? I was SURE Timh was going to build a flicker deck around that and it would have given him away.

Ah nuts, guess I won't know now until i see which deck loses first.

that's a good idea, can we call them those?

can't wait to try these out.

So Gem didn't participate this time? :( neither did DJ or Elk? And most surprising of all, no Sh-jock?! I think that guy loved flicker

I can't predict what people are going to vote for but I will predict WHO I will vote for based on how much I like their decks typically. I think I will like (in no particular order) Maggit, Darkshoque and Haven's decks the best (even though i have NO idea which ones are theirs).

if i eliminate Timh's deck first again, that will be funny. Also if I eliminate Vert's deck due to misplays on my part, that would rock.

Names are now fixed thx to Haven with the help of Vert and the approval of Barney. Hope they don't distract people, i would vote for Blinkaholic because of the name but i'm looking forward to trying another decklist...

I spent forever on a Flameshadow deck Barney, but it just ended up being sh*t - not even worth submitting.

I could've just done an updated Bant deck but I thought that would be represented anyway.

I'll have some fun messing with these decks, though there is a clear winner in my eyes just from reading the lists. Never judge a book but its cover though: I'll give each of them a fair shot.

The best deck is my list.

Vote for that one.

(5: Grixis Tokens) Flickering triggers Flameshadow in deck 5 - so seems like you could really do some work with it, Fireweaver, a token generator and Flux. Or candyland 2 generators/Gearhulks and Displace. Seems like builder missed an interesting synergy w/ Inventor's Goggles, with all the Artificers in the deck, tho idk what would get cut for that

(6: Orzhov Tokens) I like Vengeful Rebel in deck 6 - that seems fun. Interesting mix of control and tokens. Not sure about Y.Expertise tho; kills all its own doods. seems great if taking T1-3 to set up with tap lands, maps, and Stockpile, then Yahenni aggro away before dropping its own creatures, but later on none of its own creatures survive it.

(7: Bant Humans) You're right about Willbreaker in deck 7 - leaving the battlefield for blink will cause you to lose captured creatures (card ruling on gatherer). Prob isn't meant to be a blink target, but rather to profit more off blinking Reflector. Interesting take on Bant flicker, going human theme. Curious it doesn't run Rogue Refiners, Renegade Rallier, or either :w::u: flying humans with ETB (tap/lifegain-draw) and went :w: 3 mana blink over Displace. Guessing with less than 10 blinkable creatures, the card draw is better than the 2nd target creature, and decided goodstuff bombs like Tracker and Thalia were stronger choices than ETB mentions above. At any rate, flickering T.Lieutenant in a human deck seems fun.

(4: Temur Fog Tower) I like Trophy Mage in deck 4. Looks like the deck found a cool way to make it worth running, by using fogs/draw/burn/blink spells to help power one of the few 3 mana artifacts that's worth tutoring for. This seems like the most pioneering take, with others having some similarities to each other in various ways.

(3: Grixis Gearhulks) I like the Crain in deck 3, along with Vengeful Rebel (that I liked in deck 6). Wonder if 8 Vehicles/maps/Gearhulks are enough targets tho? Wonder if this deck could have used the Trophy Mage/Tower combo like deck 4? Has a few 3cmc vehicles to grab with flickered Mage too.

(2: Esper Revolt Tokens) like 3 and 6, I like the Vengeful Rebel. Clearly several builders were on that same page. Curious that none of the decks with :b: that went with blinkable ETB kill effects ran Gilt-Leaf Winnower - guess there's just too much competition in the 5cmc spot now. Some interesting choices with the artifact tokens / demon subtheme.

(1: Bant Classic Flicker) Deck 1 is the only one that went in an obvious (well tread) direction. Suspect it will perform the best, because it's already a thing that gets played more or less as is - but am def curious to see if any others can give it a run for its money.

Overall, it's cool to see so many goofy takes on blink. Several using it with Revolt, and several using it on token generators. Really enjoy seeing builds I haven't encountered before. I'm excited to take these for a spin.

Lol, it's like you know me. I ALMOST did a Jeskai flicker with Valor, but I kinda did that already with Valor Blues a few seasons ago, and I really wanted to do something I hadn't seen before. Plus I'm doing Valor in the Tourney. But yeah, you'll see which one is mine when the 1st deck gets cut from your elimination testing :p
