I thought you were in Australia practicing dingo warfare!
I don't see the Flavour text on Throw Down.

I came back. They ran out of dingoes.

The changes in my last post are for the November update. They aren't current.

You killed ALL the dingoes? I didn't know they were that much of a problem. I know they hate kangaroos though. And don't eat pickles.
Was it fun?

Camp Tiger Hill doesn't exactly set the standard when it comes to modern amenities. I was quite glad to get out of my tent and into a motel for the two days of R&R we were allotted. Rockhampton isn't a huge city like Singapore and doesn't have a lot of tourist attractions, but it was fair enough: I went to the Botanical Gardens and the Art Gallery, and did some basic shopping in the little time I had there. Mostly, though, I was itching to get back home and back to all the projects I'm working on... not to mention my backlog of Steam games.

Coming in January:

Edit: I'm attaching the NGA Constructed logo here so I don't have to rely on an external host.

I forgot to update yesterday because of all the fireworks and festivity, so here's the new plugin with NGA Masters 3. We shall see if Welder remembers to update the autocard... We shall see.

So here's a thing: With all the recent media coverage that the alt-right and extremist nationalism is getting, I've discovered that "Stormfront" is the name of a pretty awful publication.

I wonder if I should retcon the name of Eldangard's second set to something less associated with Nazis?

I agree with Mown, it seems unnecessary. 2 different things can have the same name

It's a meme from World of Warcraft, in which the chat messages of players on the enemy faction are run through a substitution cipher to turn it into gibberish. When a Horde player says "kek" to your Alliance character, it means they typed "lol."

I think you're fine either way. it's also just a word, after all, and as long as the set's theme isn't "color matters" you're probably in the clear, implied-racism-wise. I also don't think changing it would be unreasonable, though, if you wanted to.

what were you thinking of changing it to?

No mechanical connections, but Himmler was quite a fan of Norse mythology and paganism. Germanic heritage, Wagner's operas and all that. Even the set symbol (a trefoil-knot "Valknut") is sometimes appropriated by white supremacists, albeit rarely. I mean, the symbology is perfectly justified in the set's flavor, but I really don't want to give the wrong impression.

I have no idea what I'd change the name to though. I haven't gotten that far in my thought process yet. Something referencing the return of the Valkyries maybe? (What's the plural of Valkyrie?)
