I mean Sl33p just joined recently and I've already talked to him more times over the headset than anyone on here before.

As someone that is considered new to the forum I will say there is an air of "I don't know who you are so whatever you say doesn't matter" with some (maybe a lot?). I believe that is more of a human nature thing, to not warm up to those they aren't familiar with until proven. In this particular case reptileye was offended by some negative criticism / borderline trolling. Some was constructive, but overall most comments were positive. I think It was one of those situations once offended he was pretty much done and we are all now deprived of what was sure to be an entertaining comic that could have continued.
I have appreciated the way some have been friendly to me as a newer guy, that goes a long way with me and I suspect others as well. Maybe if you see someone is being a troll or is a known troll here then send the new guy a pm advising them to "let that garbage go by" / "they say that stuff in a lot of topics".

Honestly I am not new to the site. I was on here back on DOTP 2013 or 14, I think there was a mass migration from the official forum to here and I followed. I just decided to lurk more back then, and I didn't keep up after 14. I tried to connect with Hakeem several times back on 14 sending xbox messages back and forth but our schedules just didn't match. Mobius was someone I remember conversing with back then. I didn't like the idea of 15 not having 2HG so I didn't buy. I bought an xbone and started playing and came back to lurk and slowly started posting after building up a little bit of a collection.
Vert is painfully honest, and I like that. Give it to me strait. This dude was obviously butt hurt and couldn't handle any of it. Not a good way to be, I hope he keeps making comics even if not shared here.
