Funny thing, I actually checked the picture when I used "he" when describing the sage. I blame two things. 1) I didn't blow up the picture to see clearly. 2) As was stated, it is difficult to tell a guy elf from a girl elf. As it happens, I don't have many elven friends.

I'm surprised you're only finding it good now, I played one Reclamation Sage all throughout KLD, and would've happily gone up to two if I had the space

I think that Elves are like Dwarves are similar in that it is hard to tell the genders apart if you are not one of their kind, especially if you are entrenched in traditional gender roles. In the case of Dwarves, it is the coarse and stubborn nature of all of their kind (traditional "male" attributes) that seems to make them all appear to be like males. However with Elves the opposite is the case, they are known for being sensitive and have a close bond to nature (traditional "female" attributes) that makes them seem invariably feminine. Their appearance enforces these attributes with Dwarves being thick and stout like a typical muscular hard-working man and Elves being lithe and graceful like a typical soft dainty lady.

Or mabye, as I've thought all along, elves and dwarves are asexual.
