Not much. They get a 5cc instant speed black removal spell, Reprisal and Solemn Offering in white, rec sage in green, and a couple small damage sources in red that could pick off none of the most commonly played vehicles. (Edit: got ninjad with some other options I overlooked, but none that are good, save for maybe Suppression Bonds but I thought that was Origins). I wouldn't want to be a new player in today's Duels, especially on xbone where 1s still get paired with 40s.

Also, the nurfed elf that could deal w/ flyers was an X/X that could tap to deal X to a flying creature, not a 1/3 with reach. Or am I forgetting an elf other than Sylvan Ranger and Jagged-Scar Archers that got cut? I was a fan of the big dumb Archers; I don't think I've built an elf deck since they got axed...

I understand they removed Mwonvuli Acid-Moss but why remove Jagged-Scar Archers? they literally killed elf decks single handed with that move right there.

The argument was "They dominated too much against flyers". You know, that tier 3 garbage that lost to pretty much anything anyway. Almost all nontoken fliers were awful during ORI/BFZ seasons and they would have lost anyway. I ran into a stainless account playing U/W starter box fliers a couple weeks ago so I guess they had that deck in mind.

I miss the Jagged-Scars. They'd be great against not just vehicles, they would also allow a starter box archetype (elves) to have an answer against bomb angel mythics.

Elves also need desperately an Heedless One substitute. Damn even an Elvish Champion could give a hand considering you can have only 2 copies.
