In a desert scenario Green should be weak.
You will probably get things like mummies, scarabs, curses, cobras, scorpions, people with animal heads and nicol bolas planeswalkers.

They'll reprint Negate and it won't make it to duels.

Probably this. And some reanimator stuff.

Tri-lands (pretty, pretty please!).

I hoping there are some nice god cards, though styled/designed differently than Theros. All the value of recent sets seems to have been placed in the low end of the spectrum; even midrange piles like Snek.dec don't seem to go above 5cmc on the curve. I'd like some decent reasons to work up to some big plays.

It would also be nice if control could get a decent bomb/finisher a la Dragonlord Ojutai.

All of this ^^^ and also, give me so wicked equipment.

My wishlist:

- As Sjok suggested, a bomby finisher like Dragonlord Ojutai
- Again as Sjok suggested more value in 4-6cmc stuff. Push them. Make. Those. Cards. Worth. Playing.
- Oblivion Ring-esque card, since we missed out on Stasis Snare. Even a dual coloured version like Detention Sphere.
- More support for enchantment focused strategies.
- Negate

What I'm curious about:

- Which PWs will we see? Gideon is almost a given, since he's Gatewatch and would have otherwise rotated in Standard during design. Bolas is more likely to land in Hour of Devastation, and the other GW members aren't due anything. Maybe Ashiok? He looks Egyptian enough.
- Will this be an enchantment/battlecruiser type set similar to Theros or original Zendikar? The theme of "chosen warriors battle-it-out".
- Following this battle theme, maybe a mechanic that forces two creatures to block an attacking creature with the same keyword? Could call it "Challenge" to indicate issuing a taunt to the opposing champion. Could be similar to Bushido for it's upside.

I want some decent mummies so I can mix them in with my SOI cards and call my deck Ravenloft.

I want some Tri-Lands.

I'm easy to please, just give me some pyramids on lands. Are there any existing lands with pyramids on them?

Also no dud mechanics, I hope they have stuff that is as big a break from convention as Energy or Vehicles. Or at least they could bring back a few of my favorite old mechanics like Flashback and Land-Cycling.

theres another new set coming already for magic duels?

that came fast, even though it probably wont hit until may for this. but yeah I guess by then will be almost 4 months. st andard for magic iirc. off topic, but for duels, how many packs does it take to get full set? 80 packs per set? or is it less for everything after origins? trying to see what I have to do and spend on it.

Well, at this point I'm simply looking for some tricks and combos.
Expecially so if in U/B/R colors.

I really hope the sand cats will bring some heavy spellstorm to our decks.

And Bolas. Can't wait to see what the hell they've done to the guy.

I speculate that there's going to be a Bolas planeswalker card, maybe saved for Hour of Devastation though. I also feel like they're going to have some kind of God theme, perhaps 5 Gods this time.
