I started by trying out the combo suggested by hearthhead (Auchenai Soulpriest + Baron Rivendare + multiple Zombie Chows), but it was too difficult to pull off, so I changed 2 cards with Feugen and Stalagg and the following match ended a lot earlier.

Auctioneer, lance, apprentice is probbaly easier.

This new brawl is really cool, each class gives you a specific boss from the adventures to play as. I played as all of them so far, and i'll spoil what class corresponds to each boss below, although you might have more fun figuring that out on your own.

I'm pretty excited to play this when I get home. It looks super fun.

A nice bonus is that the class you pick still counts for "win X games with a certain class" quests. Apparently the decks don't have many class cards, though, so not a good format for completing "play X class cards" quests.

This is one of the Tavern Brawls I have always thought they should have made.

One thing that surprised me is that the White King is actually really good: all his minions basically have charge (not just the Knight), which helps a lot with board advantage. I encountered 2 opponents using him, while I was using Noth because I needed to complete a Warlock quest. The first one destroyed me, the second conceded in a situation that wasn't really bright for them but I think they could have retaken the advantage easily.

A word of advice if you are using Noth: if you use Plague while you have Unstable Ghoul, you get some skeletons, then the Ghoul triggers and kills the skeletons you already got, then you get some more skeletons. Not obvious.

More importantly for White Knight is that his units are all immune when they attack as well.
Curator is pretty annoying, since it shuts down most interactions. It makes it pretty hard to win with symmetrical hero powers.

What have they done to the old Kel'Thuzad vs Rafaam brawl? Someone may argue that it wasn't perfectly balanced before, but now, winning with KT is almost impossible. Rafaam has all the removal (both single and aoe) and the cards he draws from his hero power are discounted; KT has few removal, his "exclusive" legendaries aren't that great, and the cards he draws from his hero power don't get any discount.

I won with Rafaam even by losing a turn due to disconnection while the opponent's field was almost full...

One of Rafaam's emotes makes him say "I pity you...". Never seen a more appropriate emote before.

P.S.: Remember when I complained about KT's legendaries not having any sound? Now they gave them sounds... recycled from other cards. I guess it was easier than using their own voices from the Naxx adventure, but now the perfectionist in me is even more disappointed.

I played badly as rafaam twice and lost. Thats pretty nuch the only way to lose. Also not getting your staff pieces early enough.

My first game was as Kel'Thuzad and I lost a painful, slow game where my opponent just kept getting way more value than me. At the end of that, I was pretty much ready to join the "concede until you get Rafaam" camp. I queued up, got Rafaam on my first try, and my opponent immediately conceded.

At least I got my free pack.
