Well Blue did get a decent 2 drop common in Aether Swooper. It's not fantastic, but 2/3 stats for 2 is better than Welkin Tern.

I don't think it's that bad either.. I think there's a tapdancer deck that wants it actually. Frost Lynx, the Pestermite spirit, this thing, Kytheon's Irregulars, some solid two drops including Dauntless River Marshall.. holding up mana for tap effects and counterspells on turn 4-5+


You know someone's going to build a deck that goes Unsubstantiate into Reflector Mage into Spire Patrol into Niblis of Frost + Essence Flux RM, and I'm going to be like ID RATHER YOU JUST COUNTER MY ****, YOU SICK BASTARD

I'm not sure that I want to use something that requires 5 lands in a tempo deck, and that gives me a 2-3 mana effect until I untap with it to attack.

I think 2 is overly optimistic; would say maybe 1. But I have a poor understanding of the grading scale so imma shut my fool mouth

This. I can't properly edit the articles to make them anything more than a giant wall of text from my phone. I'm really sad about it, but I think the podcast will be the only place to give my opinions about the cards, at least for the time being :(
