Ugin was just banned this season. Pretty sure there's a rule against unbanning a card that was freshly banned.

This rule was put in place to prevent ban-list tug-of-war that used to happen a lot.

I think it was banned in expectance of Vanilla Land having some crazy mana acceleration.

Ugin is a really strong colorless planeswalker that wins the game all on its own. If you are going to pick a big stupid win con to get to eventually along with 2 other cards, this would be one of the better ones that doesn't have color restrictions.

I was just trying to think of the most obvious decks for this season, and the first thing I thought of was 2 storage lands into Karn or Ugin, so I banned them.
