Hilariously, I do not need a new deck! ......My wife does however and she will not be happy about it. She loved her little Reflector Mage children.

Wow, I almost bought 3 more copters. I guess that makes up for me passing that Saheeli. I never did draft any reflector mages either (I think I have 1).

It's very weird to ban lil' Emmy WHILE printing a 2 card infinite combo. It's funny but not weird to un ban GGT, then print 3 cards that make it better, then ban it again.

They should just flat out ban phyrexian mana in modern.

WotC really dropped the ball on this one. This is the first standard ban since Jace/Misty, and now they not only need bannings, but bannings for multiple archetypes.

Personally I figured that copter would get punted sometime, the value of giving every deck a 3/3 flyer that filters is just nuts. That it would so soon near the second set is a bit odd. I don't play standard anymore but I can see why they nuked emrakrul. Reflector mage boggles me a bit.

I wonder if the reflector mage ban -- and standard banning in general -- is due to them extending the rotation. Obviously rofl coptor was a mistake.... but I think these all go together.

All I know is that my wife has been driving people crazy with Reflector Mage ever since Panharmonicon became a thing. I'm guessing that, as a card overall, it was just slowing down games as people were having to basically re-take turns over and over again casting things they already cast a few turns ago.
