Call of the Bloodline has been pretty big this tournament for me. I like it. always love the discard outlets. Everyone says Copter is an obvious auto-include but the deck is already a little combo-reliant and copter requires creatures to do anything. Obviously it's really good in this but I can see how it can cause some issues, although the upside is far more than the downside. Anyway, it's been a blast to play. I love how packing max copies of Alms of the Vein drives Hakeem crazy.

I really like Masquerade too, lots of fun that card.

What I'm getting from this is that BB should always play decks from the previous season because that makes him goddamn invincible.

Still sounds strictly worse than Key to the City granting unblockable and allowing you to simply replace the card with 2 mana

It sounds worse, yes; which is why I tried to replace 2 Calls with Keys - and immediately the performance tanked. Call the Bloodline giving an immediate effect to the board proved to be more effective than the potential additional value Key provides. Discarding a land to have a 1/1 Flash Lifelink with a relevant creature type gives you more value than spending 2 mana to cycle - and additionally pay to play the Vamp you just got.
Also, by replacing 2 Calls with Keys you thin your deck out of Vampires; which is bad news for Stromkirk Condemned and especially Stensia Masquerade; two cards whose positions you then would have to re-evaluate. These two cards are only good in this shell because every single non-land card bar Fiery Temper and Alms of the Vein (your Lightning Bolts and Lava Spikes, respectively) cares about Vamps; either being a Vampire, generating Vampires or buffing Vampires. Diluting these synergies means you'd have to re-evaluate the positions of these cards; and I think at that point you're pretty much running Rakdos Madness Aggro, similar to the lists Gegliosch and Gemini posted on the Rakdos thread recently. It's not easy to decide which lists are better/worse.

Yeah exactly the only reasons why masquerade and stromkirk are working so well is they are giving Lord effects to everyone.
