I believe so. Judging from how Kryder pairs in the playoffs, if it remains top seed vs. bottom seed then the pairings for top 4 should be:

You wouldn't be putting words in my mouth, you'd be typing them there...if you weren't wrong. Tournament brackets are set up so that 1st and 2nd seeds can only fight each other in the final match. You broke that up, you stinker (good job also).

Vert, it's alms of the vein which really makes the deck stink. That card is awful but praise to Modulo for putting it in! The red mage in me loves it, but the sensible mage in me wants to vomit.

Masquerade has been a bit of a mvp. Also thanks to Hakeem for teaching me to play Youths like a burn spell

Yes, that is the correct course of action unless you plan on losing.

Whoa, props to you Barney. When you told me that you'd use my EMN Vamps list for the tourney I would've never thought you'd take it to the finals. Especially since it's never been tuned for the KLD meta.

That being said, I have tried and failed to update the list with KLD cards. Vamps is a highly synergistic deck that sacrifices a lot of individual card quality to enable it's powerful synergies (Stensia Masquerade and Alms of the Vein being the most prominent examples here). If I we're to add more Power (most notably Key to the City, Copter or Scrounger), I'd have to cut down these synergies -and that hasn't ended well for the list, at least in my case. There are some good Rakdos Madness Aggro decks that use KLD cards, but these should not run any Vamp synergy cards or cards that rely on these to be good (so, no Masquerade, Call the Bloodline, Stromkirk Comdemned etc). Again, sacrificing synergy for more individual quality.

Regarding Alms of the Vein: Given the correct deck it is a Lava Spike with upside. Very few decks actually want it, but the decks that do like both the 3 damage to the face as well as enabling their synergies. Decks that woild otherwise be Happy to discard an excess land now turn that land into a Lava Spike that also makes you harder to race.
Similar reasoning for Call the Bloodline: It makes every single one of your cards a 1/1 Lifelink Vampire at worst -much better than an excess land- and that 1/1 gets tacked into every Madness card.
